New map selection system, please add 'keep up fighting reward'

At present, what we will receive cannot be called a ‘map selection system’. I know that the developers designed such a system because they were concerned about dividing the player community, but there is a better solution:

1. Select the map like in custom mode, and only these maps will be entered in the following matches.

1. To prevent the player group from being severely divided, players should choose at least a certain number of maps.

1. Premium players can choose fewer maps than regular players.

“At least the number of selected maps” should be determined based on the total number of maps in different factions, and regular players can choose at least 60% of the map, premium players can choose at least 40% of the maps.

Punishment alone cannot comfort players who choose to continue fighting, they need some rewards:

  • Reward players who keep up fighting :

For every additional deserter added to the team during settlement, the player who persists in the battle will receive a 10% increase in earnings (up to a maximum increase of 90%, as there can only be a maximum of 9 deserters in the team).
This multiplier is not too high, because if there are 9 deserters in your team, you will definitely lose the game within a few minutes.

"The number of deserters=10- the number of players who persist in fighting ",It must be calculated during settlement, as there may still be players joining midway.

What we need is not just punishment, it is equally important to protect the interests of other players from deserters.

I have made similar suggestions before, and now I would like to take the opportunity to raise them again. Here is a more detailed content:

Good Idea. Out of likes today, but I would give one if I could.

Why not just a 50% flat rate for staying? That way the Devs don’t need to take 5000 years to implement the code required for something like that and we get a reasonable amount for staying.

Cuz DF is greedy and wants you to buy premium + silver with real money.

Both developers and players need to make appropriate compromises, but this time we didn’t get what we wanted. Only the imperfect “map selection system” was not a problem, but we received a complete deserter punishment without any rewards.
That’s why we need to continue demanding some.

I think the system we will get will have the following situation:
Only a few guys who like bad maps have started matching → we have to let some people who don’t like this map enter this map → as long as there is one guy who likes bad maps, 19 unlucky people can suffer
So there is still a high probability that we will enter a bad map.
It’s better not to be true.

nah 100% thats true, thats what happens in WT, I have currently gone 9 months since Ive gotten any maps from my like list in WT.

Straight up the best maps in the game get denied for some fucking reason so despite there being tens of maps to choose from, you get the same 5 maps if your lucky on constant repeat.

People need to stop attacking deserters until a proper map and gamemode selection system is introduced.

I have NEVER had a game ruined due to deserters. I dont understand why people carry on about them so much.

Greyzone cowards ruin games far more than a couple guys who had to leave for whatever reason.

Like Hell Let Loose players who stay should be rewarded instead of punishing every person who got short taken, called to do chores, had a visitor at the door, internet went down, was tired and bored etc.

That’s what I’ve been campaigning for. However, deserters are still a big issue. Maybe instead, if there’s more bots on one team than the other, there should be some compensation.

Alongside a 50% bonus to earnings for staying to the end, this could also happen:

  • More tickets for the attacking team if they have more bots
  • Longer time to cap for the defending team if they have more bots

This should balance out teams a lot more.
