where is chatting interface? we still dont have it…
We just need more tabs: the weapon subcategories must be kept, especially since with merge each side will have even more weapons total. There’s no upgrade in the UI change if one must scroll through an endless list of all the guns of the side to buy one.
I see what you did there
I guess you forgot the five free gold order weapons you promised me as well?
Can you please show us the new layout of soldiers’ equipment selection?
That’s the part that needs streamlining the most imo.
Oh look, the permanent green notification to help boost sales through using a version of the lootbox gambling hook psychology is there.
But besides that, looks fine. Need to use it to feel it!
That would be a fantastic change!
Personally I think it’s ok. Maybe weapon list is a bit cluttered but that’s all.
I saw campaign “Invasion of Normandy” on the screenshot. Do this mean we will receive the UI update separately before the progression update?
Agreed.
The first screen could be even more clean. Remove/downsize the squad emblems etc.
The new progression/squad upgrades UI give us a smooth and rounded profile. But some UI elements are still to square and “boxy” (Battlepass/Event window and logistics)
I would prefer a more coherent profile.
Yes.
Glad to hear that, this give a good opportunity for old players to get familiar with the new system. Definitely more QoL update before official release is needed, also do not forget bug fixing and graphical technology improvement.
@1942786 With the new UI and basically new research mode, will you finally do something with it?
Either remove it completely or make it work, it’s been forever here (2 years+), don’t you think it’s about the time for this “future versions of the game” to come true.
I’ve already asked about the same like few major updates ago.
I think the “Select Army” button is too small and should be along the top of the screen and not hidden in the bottom left.
My issue with the current iteration is that in order to equip every slot, you have to switch to a different menu for each slot.
It would be quicker if multiple sub-menus were open at once, so you could simply click (or drag) primary, secondary, sidearm etc. without needing all the intermediate clicks to change slot.
looks cool.
not sure if it has been mentioned, or will be actually implemented, but i reccomend to give some dropshadow on text without a square behind.
otherwise in custom hangars with clear skies, it’s going to be difficult to read for example the first bar " BATTLE " , " SQUAD " , " PROGRESS " Etc. or like the number of cards and gold available.
that’s just me.
New UI still gives zero immersion of the battles. So general purposed. (Also pretty cheap feeling.) Ignoring all the soldiers and squad icons, you can barely tell this is a historical FPS game. I’m OK with the fonts, modern fonts are easy to read. But for the UI… Too arcade.
What about at least spawn the menu cameras in the corresponding maps? Like spawning Soviets in Stalingrad maps, and US in Normandy maps.
Also, still any historical background informations? Gives players more wiki style hints or place to check out about what equipments/squads he used, and maps/missions he player about.
Like having a dedicated button for player to read and learn something.
And is that “Invasion of Normandy” a placeholder? Shouldnt we no longer get campaign selection after the merge?
Also, have you reserved places for “fine tuning”? It’s been 3 years, and still not exist in game.
Also, can you bring a search function for searching?
For example, I always failed to find out some specific equipments/soldiers location.
I have to manually click on EVERY squads, and every soldiers to find this sword.
If you have a general inventory, or barracks for counting and managing all resources will be much better.
Especially we will have lots more squads per faction. It will easily going to be a resource management disaster.
BTW, how will you going to deal with repeated squad research for different class soldier? Shouldnt that not a thing in squad tech tree?
