New idea let us get points and custom matches for the event So we don't have to smash our head Into a brick wall because the match ends in 10 minutes and I need to go find another one

Public matches are to chaotic there’s always someone hogging all the kills or there’s not enough points to go around for the event.

And if anyone has a problem with the suggestion then the events shouldn’t be time gated.

And the only ones who benefit from this stupid event are people who are Max level and can choose any campaign They wanna play in and get plenty of kills for the event while new players are screwed because they can’t meet the quota with their bolt action rifle.

I’m not max level and I use plenty of bolt action rifles and I have no problem with the game

Congratulations but you’re not a new player you’re somewhat new but not brand new.

I think the experience gains from player confrontation should be greatly increased. If there are many players on both sides, everyone can get a relatively high basic experience.
There is a problem with this game right now, that is, both sides are of the same level. The higher the intensity of the confrontation, the fewer opportunities each player will get to kill, and the game time will be longer. As a result, gaining experience is not as good as killing the BOT.

Even when I’m max level I’m still gonna be playing the same exact way as I do now

mmmh…

In my experience, those ppl are the ones I WANT in my team. If simply because they are very proactive in deleting the enemy… And deleting the enemy leads to victory.

However I wouldn’t mind customs also being able to award event objectives. Customs are funny sometimes, still wish devs will keep their promises and revamp them.

Congratulations that only benefits you and not new players.

Generally its not because they are hogging the kills, its because the team arent getting it done so they spend way more time thinning the hoarde than they would have to if team mates would actually shoot something.

Speaking for myself ofcourse

When you say event, are you talking this Fire Attack event? You have 2 days to get 20,000 battle points which is plenty of time.

The way I see it, this is a breakdown of average points a player should expect per game:

1,000 = Lowest expected points of a human showing up and just trying to play the objective. If you’re getting under this per game, go hit some YouTube videos to learn some strategy because this should be your bottom score on a really bad game that ended quickly.

3,000 = For all intents and purposes this is an average game and shows that you put in effort to help your team win. You played the objective, got a bunch of kills, maybe got some engineer points or destroyed some vehicles. All around a useful player.

5,000+ = You are having a “great” game and are guaranteed to be in the top 3 of your team. You’re definitely carrying your team at this point and giving it your all. You can be on my team any day.

Even with the average score broken up over 2 days all you need to do is play 3-4 games in one day.

Custom matches for event is not gonna happen, because it defeat the purpose of having the event, which is encouraging people to play on public match.

The issue is you do 20k in 1 day the next day you do nothing, which not a great way to keep players invested in the game if you need them to wait for the next reward

The slight Nerf they’ve done in some campaigns to the amount of ticket you have or how fast tickets drain it’s better to go to Normandy custom match and just do airfield and keep increasing the tickets when you start running low to get more blood for the event.

And they don’t even have any dedicated modes for us to play to get lots of kills for the event and they make us play public matches which end in 10 minutes or someone hogs all the kills.

Well then maybe they should not be nerfing public matches in the tickets drain so you can actually have a nice decent fight to get plenty of blood for the event.

when you’re in a match with a death stack there’s not much points to go around especially when they start spawn camping the enemy in their spawn.

The nerf only affect popular faction. Remove the nerf will make the unpopular faction harder to play. So more people will leave the unpopular faction and you will have less decent fight because there are more bots.

What is this magical match that you’re looking for where everyone lines up for you to kill them?? Public matches have the most bot enemies which is about as much fodder as you’re going to get.

I don’t understand how playing customs changes your points-per-minute or how someone can “hog” kills in public but not in custom. All the enemies are on the same battlefield for all to shoot, some people are just better than others.

I’ve also never experienced a match where a teammate who is doing well prevents me from getting points. If one teammate is somehow preventing all other players from killing anyone then you should be able to get tons of points from the objective. And if the game is going that poorly for the other team where literally everyone is dying from one player, it should be over in no time and let you get into another match quickly.

Everything for a points-based event is about your points per minute. If you play a 5 minute match where you only get 2000 points and then play a 15 minute match where you get 6000 points, your PPM is the same and thus event progression is the same.

Some campaigns don’t have high ticket drain and some campaigns have special perks like Normandy for extra tickets And confrontation Has a lot of blood to spill if it doesn’t end in 10 minutes and destruction has infinite defenders if you don’t instantly destroy the first objectives you can just farm As much as you can And the time you have before the timer runs out.

engineers are a great way to earn points, build rally points, sandbags and barb wire, as well as mg nests. Alos if you know how to play tanks it can be another good source of points, taking and defending the point there are lots of ways to increase you’re score.

I understand that but with some campaigns having nerf to ticket drain and how match is ended in under 10 minutes I want to get the points and XP in a match instead of looking for multiple matches because they ended in under 10 minutes.

Why are you dying on this 10 minute match hill? Why does it matter? It takes 15 seconds to find another match and get back into the action.

Also, I challenge you to show a screenshot of your replay history that shows you’re playing public matches that consistently last 10 minutes. I just looked at mine and there are some games that are steamrolled that are around 10 minutes but the vast majority of my games last 15-25 minutes. I even had a Normandy match that lasted 40 minutes!

In my opinion the problem you’re describing is not a prevalent one, and even if all games had a strict 10 minute timer, who cares? The game takes as long as it takes and doesn’t stop you from getting points.
