Night battles are amazing but they could add some flashlights. xd
Last time in battle I couldn’t see anything which made the gameplay difficult.
Adding tear gas grenades to the game would also be a cool option.

Flashlights? lol. Only if your on the other team.
The US should get the little clickers that were used in Normandy.
If everyone is provided with a flashlight then everyone will be able to decide if they want to be easier to spot but see more. It would be an interesting diversification.
why would i play this instead of just playing normal maps? this just feels like playing with a disadvantage lol. this would end up the same as war thunders night battles

I would like to note this alongside with your suggestion, as I think they could work well in tandem.
I think adding more utility options would be a good addition.
flare would be better for night battles, regular and tiny parachutes
flares could be interesting! Are you thinking arial flares or handheld, similar to a grenade?
