I find grinding the same faction three to five times for the same troops and the same weapons the absolute pinnacle of boring grinding. This fixes that. Saying the new grind will be worse is an unsustainable position.
Soon
Enlisted is a fantasy game already - AS-44 as a standard weapon issued for regular soldiers the same way as StG 44.
Yep this is the reason why i haven’t touched Axis Moscow even for more than 20 games, and i’m going to only grind Tunisia Axis to the motorbike and OVP, rest are boring copy paste and i don’t care about crappy Fiat planes with 50kg bombs.
Fedorov too their stocks were depleted and no longer usable (due lack of any parts and different ammo type from PPSh-41 and other commonly used guns) after Finish war and yet they are there in Berlin like come brand new from the factory. Even Battle of Moscow with so many Fedis is kinda unbelievable unless they found some grandpa ww1/bolshevik revolution veteran that had stock of Fedorovs hidden in his basement.
In February, and April 2023 I was asking policymakers if they had developed detailed rules for converting values.
And all the time, the only responses were “it’s not done yet”, “soon”, etc., in addition to being ignored.
Concerns about the new monetary system - English speaking section / Suggestions - Enlisted About the selling price of weapons after the new monetisation - English speaking section / Suggestions - Enlisted
In the first half of 2023, I tried at least four scenarios in my community; they were a conversion scheme based on experience values to currencies such as dollars, rubles, yuan, euros, etc. and gold military pay; a conversion scheme based on silver cards for weapons or personnel to experience values and gold military pay; a conversion scheme based on bronze cards to experience values and gold military pay; and a conversion scheme that set the individual item The conversion plan for the selling price of lottery chests that can be exchanged for silver coins (the new currency substitute) in the future, based on the conversion ratio of each item.
But why is it that it’s already October and players can only see a draft of the new currency mechanism?
In this notice, the game content does not have any selling price or ratio to other currencies (including EXP).
I see a lot of assistants, alpha members urging players to keep waiting for the dev test server.
I’m also looking forward to it.
But in a short period of time (20 days), is it really possible to satisfy different groups of players or give them the option to compromise or accept?
Why is it that after 6 months or more, there is still only a draft?
Aren’t the developers a team of professionals?
There shouldn’t be no systematic division of labor, scientific layered planning, and forward-thinking planning program design and development.
This is just a draft of the new coins, there are many more rainbows, cakes, candies, unicorns, world peace, etc. in the enlisted 2.0 drawn by the developers!
I wonder if they can continue to keep players informed about their drafts.
Examples include: conversion of R&D points already available to players after combat merges; return prices for degraded vehicle modifications; changes to the value of weapon and vehicle modification cards; new matchmaking mechanics (including the use of bonus cards; when the gap between the number of players on both sides and their weapons and equipment is too large; rewards and penalties for joining and quitting in different situations; matchmaking limits for grouped players; and number of hosted players in cross-games); new individual player statistics (average number of strategic points captured per game, number of resurrection points per game, number of times building a resurrection point was used per game, damage inflicted on friendly forces per game, etc.). New in-game mail system; how to increase communication channels between console and PC players in cross-play; actual probability of getting various gold cards by signing in to the supply box (adding a guarantee mechanic?) ; changes to new troop skills; retention of event blue and purple cards, etc.
Regardless of the point, I honestly love this metaphor.
Not completly true. You will get BR instead of campaigns (WT) where you will have to make for and manage difrrent packs of soldiers if you will want to play with friends which are not in top yeat. So now you have 5 capains for germany and you at least 5 BR tiers.
Oh, okay then, but as some people said before me, we need to wait before this happens, but in the meantime I’ll keep buying weapons and soldiers…
well i would wait before they finalize the prices and give all info about conversion. there is still time and there will be guides on how to maximize conversion efficiency.
Depends on the exchange rate I guess.
Ah yes, the price of new soldiers includes the cost of upgrading, so they let players “upgrade soldiers for free” Besides, now we can decide whether to upgrade a soldier according to his attributes, but the new system is equivalent to forcing you to upgrade all soldiers(Including those soldiers with the worst attributes).Well, we bought the worst soldiers at the most expensive price. And we also lost some surprises brought by random grades(Most of the soldiers you get now are level 2 or 3, and occasionally there are some soldiers of level 4 or 5).It seems that the price of soldiers is even more expensive! In a word, I feel cheated, because there is no free upgrade at all, and the result is even worse.
They should have opted for merging the Tech Trees into single overlying one and left the campaigns alone.
Which is how it should’ve been from start.
But they way they are implementing it they remove the These Squads with these Weapons fighting in that Campaign of that year with that tech lvl, instead we will now have B.R system with just a pool of everything in it and the feeling of WW2 immersion of these squads there and then is gone. That is what I’m worried about.
That the different Campaigns have separate Tech Trees of the same is and was stupid from start
This tells me you play wayy too much, already unlocked most, and spend everything on all those weapons you want to max out and make your squads min/maxed.
And also makes me wonde, do you even use soldier orders correct? Do you once squad is fully upgraded and decked out also fully meta ur Soldiers? As in Rifleman I,II or III depending on chosen path with the optimal Perk table? since that doesn’t seem to be the case
nope… quite the opposite. have only maxed 3 sides (allies and axis normandy and allies moscow). i am just smarter with usage of my orders. i dont buy lots of guns that i will not be using for long time and i am using lots of basic (max stat) class I soldiers cause they are cheaper to fully upgrade and higher class soldiers dont actually give almost any meaningful advantage over their basic counterparts (with few exceptions).
problem is that guns that i almost always buy are end game weapons (or mid game weapons that could be used in end game) that cost fortune to upgrade (alongside with vehicles).
So you choose to play mostly just upgrade guns of which you choose the more expensive ones to upgrade and complain you don’t have enough weapon orders, while at same time not care for maxing out on the soldier front, not getting the meta stat soldiers so you end up with surplus soldier orders…
So it all comes down to how you have chosen to play the game…
I play all campaigns all factions and play quite alot and in terms of orders needed I find I’m quite at same resource stock in both.
I still hear you though, it’s crazy expensive the higher tiers of weapons to upgrade and soldiers to roll, but that comes down to how you want to play and how much you want to max out and in what way.
You don’t buy soldiers and complain surplus of soldiers orders is not the stongest arguement for changing the economy though mate
it is exactly this that is the strongest argument for changing economy. ffs why should i get class II or III soldier and upgrade when class I soldier is perfectly good for all the perks that i want. i want to use my excess orders on weapons that make greater difference in battle than minor 1% or 2% change i stamina or reload or whatever else those stats influence.
That’s uh sort of the opposite. It’s exactly why this should be changed. I agree btw, weapons are a far greater expense in game than soldiers. Far, far greater.
idk how i managed to end up as author of his quotes
I cannot wait for this change! So happy to finally get rid of tons of useless bronze and soldier orders. And actually be able to use resources on something useful.
I really don’t understand how can someone think this is negative change. I guess they’re just chronic and especially despotic haters. pretty sad.
well there are some concerns about specific conversion cause after it soldiers will be more expensive to reroll for max stat and stock weapons are much more expensive (and they were useful even if not upgraded), not to mention adding vehicle cost.
but overall unified currency is great.
