However, the German “partisans” are complete fiction (as how they will be presented in the game, from the historical side, and even more so from the goofy outfits given to them).
At best, at that time in Germany it could have been a completely reversed version, where German citizens with anti-Nazi views acted directly against the regime itself. Then maybe there would be some truth. And in this case, the “Volkssturm” armbands and their association with this organization is absolutely wrong.
None other than the “Brandenburgers”(Germany’s Specs Ops as to say) were responsible for all the “actions” listed in the description (and partly Werwolf’s secret Guerrilla Movement, which operated more on “paper” than in reality).
So when the Event squad of the German special forces was moved to the BR2 category, all that was needed was to assign these new “specializations” to them. It would have made a lot more sense.
What i would find a lot more fun is Det Cord charges. Lay a Det Cord along a strip of land and when you trigger it, it blows up the entire line. Instead of placing TNT one by one, lay a line of explosives.
US soldiers getting killed by German men in newsboy caps and rolled up sleeves using Soviet weapons on the western front is so much fun. Finally, the immersion we are all looking for!
Oh and still getting greyzone camped by tanks in every battle… so what was this complete shit class made to do again, other than piss on historical accuracy?
