I am playing for USSR against germany. It is HORRIBLY UNPLAYABLE! The main problem is imbalance in teams. I play with 99.9% bot team, while enemy´s got 100% normal player team with all of them having top tier premium squads and Marshall rank.
Also big problem is imbalance in weapons. Yes, USSR´s got many good vehicles, but they have more vehicles than weapons. Germany´s got 17 weapons (+premium) on TII, while Soviets got only 10. (Vehicles not counted). Please do something mainly with that matchmaking. That´s why I loved the old campaign mode.

I literally just played a BR 2 soviet match right there, could not have dumpstered the germans harder. Even with the broken MGs on the T-28E, Its still a really good tank. I prefer the soviet BA/Winchester over the german counterparts, the SMGs are decently equal, MP40 is a solid Med-Short range while the PPS excels in close range.
If anything the soviets have it better, able to get their best BR2 weapons first due to having to researching less purely inferior weapons. The weapon balance is fine in BR2.
As for a ranked matchmaker, It would be nice to match players with similar ranks 1 to 1, ie, If there is 2 marshals on one team, the matchmaker will try to get two on the other team and if there isnt enough players then it substitutes in a General instead.
I rambled a lot there so sorry but no its decently fine, sometimes your team will just suck, happens to all nations.

and yet those 17 weapons are worse than 10 soviet ones. pps42/43 are best weapons for contesting caps on BR2. their BA have similar performance and SA are shit on BR2. germans have better MGs, but SMGs are what wins the game.
btw i have ~80% WR with soviets on BR2 as solo player. sometimes you get worse team, sometimes better. just build rally points and carry hard.

And? Most of germanys guns are either copy paste guns with really similar stats (mp 40, beretta m1, mp 38 for eample) or just shitty filler weapons like carcano m41. Soviets have less weapons indeed but pretty much all of their guns are superior compared to german counterparts:

German gear is objectively weaker than soviet gear for BRs 1/2/3.
Only at BR 4/5 germany gets ahead. The problem is smaller playerbase but also significantly more brain dead playerbase playing the soviets. German teams have less variance, whereas soviets often have horrible teams who fail at setting up one single rally point.
Nerfing game items because of bad players is nonsense.
A rarely understood problem is the prevalence of bad maps for br3/4/5 soviets. I like using their tanks and guns, but knowing I have to instaleave every second map because neither me nor many other players want to waste time in monotonous stalingrad maps is a big turn off for people who might want to play soviets.
Worst thing is that the soviets most iconic stuff is at BR3 but this is exactly the BR that starts throwing you into bad maps, which is why I stay with clean BR2 mostly for soviets.

For compensate the stupid player base of urrs the devs released many handycaped weapons and little adventages that stacks use on their favor
Most of German weapons are rubbish just look over here we have the kirally which is useless due recoil unless You are good at controling it then 2 stg variants that are worse than the actual stg while all soviet weapons are good no matter what specially the smg line ppsh= close combat as-44 and federov abominations that are Even BETTER than all that GE have
And then we have copy pasted vehicles why we have a br 5 tiger 1 when we can use the tiger 2? Or 3 stupid jadpanzers?
Or why WE HAVE THE FW SERIES WHEN THEY ACTUALLY SUCK…

Germany don’t needs to be nerfed it’s Even more it needs to be buffed (specially in smg and planes lines with a ppsh drum captured XD and a fw fix or a bf109 with 6 rockets )

german BR4/5 tanks & planes are significantly better than soviet ones.
regarding infantry its a slight advantage for the soviets, but mostly due to german weapons being nerfed by soviet body armor in direct comparison.
the vehicle supremacy tilts the balance clearly in germanies favor.

As for CAS, true they don’t have much, but the br3 planes can already do everything. The only worth mentioning CAS planes axis has that is br IV+ is the JU. Just because it got more bombs. But it’s a one trick pony.

BR II and III USSR gear is WAY better than its German counterparts. But there is mainly porbem with BR IV/V.
