Dear Gajin Team please change all symbols to the historical ones the current flags for example look stupid and they destroy the atmosphere. Germany lifted the ban on Nazi symbols in videogames. There is literally NO need to take them out any longer. Please make this game historically correct.

They are still banned in a lot of other countries so I dont think they will change it.

The ban is not gone, §86a STGB has not changed.
It’s only legal when this symbols are shown in a way ingame called “social adäquate” - aweful law.

Wie ich gerade schon sagte: Ja, das ist die sog. “Sozialadäquanzklausel”. Im Wesentlichen müssen die Symbole als böse-böse-böse eingeordnet werden, sondt bleiben sie untersagt.
Man bekämpft doch die Nazis ist doch ok. Oder meinetwegen sollen die das über die Spracheinstellungen regeln das man z.B. wenn man English auswählt die ungeschnittene Version hat.
Wenn’s nach mir ginge, wäre das Verbot komplett aufgehoben. Ich entscheide das aber leider nicht.

Better to remove all those awfully censored symbols altogether… It would be less controversial and would do a valuable service to our eyes.
I would really love to not be forced to “appreciate” the absolute “top state of art” done with censorship.

Video games are one of the few remaining media that have a ban on historical symbol like this unfamous one.
Movies, comics, books, newspaper can use if it to serve the story they tell.
Mainly because Video games is a media where the consumer is active (you are not reading a story, you are part of it.) but also becuase the law makers have a very bad opinion on video games.
It may change in the futur. But remember every time a new GTA came out there is news on the main channel about “Do video games make people violent?”.
Video games are still pointed as the main problem for young generation, even before drugs or suicide…
Just like Rock N Roll was once pointed as the main problem of young generation.
Remember that in 2022 one asian country decided to ban some video games by refusing to give licence to sell to publisher because young people “play too often”.
Evil symbol + Video games = A big no no for politics around the world.
As a french I would say, the world need more Guillotine for stupid politician.
