Nambu type 11/Japanese Shisei Type 3 prototype

r/BattlefieldV - World War 2 Era Light/Medium Machine Guns for Battlefield V: Part 2 of 3

  • Nambu Type 11: The first official light machine gun of Japan, this ugly weapon served as a possible replacement for the Type 03 wood pecker machine gun. It used an unusual hopper system, where it would be loaded up with 5 round stripper clips (carried by both the machine gunner and rifleman). Despite the strange hopper system and the awkward ergonomics, it still saw service in numerous conflicts as well as world war 2. Video of Type 11 Shooting begins at 4:00 in video
New Class: Mechanised Mobile Infantry (Suggestion)

He is kinda right though he specified that it is chambered for polte round there were 2 variant one chambered for 8mm rapid and later “German SS” requested that the gun be chambered for 8mm kurz or otherwise known as polte round also the magazine is not made in ww2 unfortunately all of the variants of Zk243 were lost but not the data on them so later Prague institutio made a box magazine which the belt could be fit inside , in reality this is a very early squad automatic weapon , before even the russian RD 44.
