There I edited my original post just so you can stop white knighting for your precious revolver outside of WWII. Its honor is safe
Its IRL performance was poor hence its reflected in game. Give it double action and a faster reload animation and it will still be the worst pistol in game just like IRL but atleast it wont be AS bad
Actually no, there’ll be quite a few worse ones.
I mean without a damage buff thats hard to see. It still shouldn’t reload as fast as a magazine and still shouldn’t shoot as fast as a semi auto.
I’m not saying it’ll be the best, it’ll never be a hi-power, but it won’t be the worst either. Things like the TK1926 and Enfield revolver will be worse.
TK is also trash but it does fire a very small cartridge. The nagants I’ve shot have had HORRIBLE trigger pulls upwards of 20 pounds in double action but it all depends how “historical” it should stay as a 20 pound trigger makes for very slow and very inaccurate shooting.
Someone mentioned you could swap cylinders for reloading which again is not historical but could solve that problem
That would mean it was just generally bad, which it wasn’t.
Um, plenty of gun reviewers would disagree with you on that. This thing is peculiar on pretty much every level. I’ll let y’all be the judge:
I’m not sure why we’re still talking about it.
We’re talking about it because it’s fun.
I meant it’s entire service life.
See my first video ^^
You’d be suprised as to what adrenaline can do. Those 20 pounds might feel 10x lighter if there’s 5 germans aiming at you.
Let’s not pretend… this pistol was pretty much suited to firing at unarmed dissidents, and nothing else.
Not sure how trustworty a dude with 4k subs is. If it was someone like Ian (from forgotten weapons) saying this, it’d have a lot more value.
But yeah, if you’re planning on seriously using this gun today, you’d be crazy. The gun is 127 years old after all and the ammo costs a fortune.
Haha, soviet joke funny.
It was actually designed in Belgium.
A guy with 4k subs is more trustworthy than you in my opinion

Oh my goodness… so now a person’s subscriber count determines the validity of the things he shows you before your very eyes on-screen. Can’t judge for yourself, too dug-in to this defense of a weapon that was behind the times even for the year it was made, huh? I’ll bet you’re the type who follows the “experts” and is very concerned about “medical disinformation,” eh?
It was actually designed in Belgium.
Yeah, I know… yet the Soviets were the ones to purchase en-masse, and for whom the weapon is exclusively featured in-game, which you’ve said you wanted to get back to. So therefore, both in the context of the game itself as well as irl, the Soviets would have been the ones shooting the dissidents - not the Belgians. Because the Soviets shot dissidents. Experts with <4,000 subscribers agree.
If I see you in the game, you’re getting a NAGANT TO THE FACE, buddy!
Oh no doubt you could shoot faster however that doesnt change the trigger pull vs accuracy issue. You would probably shoot faster but all those rounds would most likely be in the dirt
But yeah, if you’re planning on seriously using this gun today, you’d be crazy. The gun is 127 years old after all and the ammo costs a fortune.
I would only use it for its silencer.
You would probably shoot faster but all those rounds would most likely be in the dirt
And you would soon follow them.
I mean, yeah, the higher the sub count, the more is known about a person and the more you can be sure of their validity. But I’m not saying he’s 100% wrong, I’m just saying he can be. Even if it’s demostrated before me, how do you know the gun’s actually high quality and not some piece of trash?
The tsarists.
Then play European servers in moscow allies. I frequently play the axis, so maybe we’ll see each other. Just make sure you buy enough Nagants!
It’s also a very nice decoration.
