It’s currently the worst gun in the game and I don’t see a reason to let it stay that way. There’s no reason for it to be used as a single action only, as historically it was a double action.
There were both single and doubles I’m pretty certain. But yes it sucks, unfortunately it kind of sucked in real life too during WWII. Buff reload speed and make it double action would atleast be usable. As it is dont waste the silvers and save for the TT instead
Yeah, but I’m fairly certain that the doubles were more common by ww2.
Not really. It was capable of using a silencer and was really sturdy. Not bad for a 1895 design.
I’d say save for C96, as it’s better imo.
By the 1940s it was up against guns like the 1911, TT, hi power and P38. Yeah its pretty poor in comparison looking at power, reload speed and trigger weight I’d say its bad and some niche rarely used silencer doesn’t change that
By the 1940s. That’s already 45 years past it’s invention. Comparing it to aP38 or TT33 is like comparing a mosin to an SVT, it just isn’t fair. So it’d be fairer to compare it to other revolvers, against which it was pretty good.
But, yeah, by 1940s standards it was outdated.
Ok? Doesnt matter as it is, infact, up against those weapons. I dont care if its great for its age because we are in 1940 now not 1895. Its the worst pistol in the game because in comparison to its rivals it was pitted against yeah its pretty bad
Notice this.
It was outdated, not bad as you mentioned here:
That would mean it was just generally bad, which it wasn’t.
Whatever dude keep your hard on for it lmao it sucked in the 40s, just how it is. Sorry I disrespected your pistol
Nah, you just said something stupid and refused to admit it. As expected of the salt king himself.
Cool point out was stupid and wrong?
Bad gun in WWII
Inferior to its competition
Weak cartridge
Slow reload
BuT iT hAS a SiLEncEr
Yes, as you didn’t mention the time period. What you said would be equivalent to saying ‘the mauser rifles kinda sucked irl’.
Its a WWII game and the gun was used in WWII. Damn I really have to explicitly state that? what time period do you think? Tell me its positives against other revolvers then
Yes, but it was’t used only in ww2. And neither me nor you specified we’re talking about it’s viability irl in ww2 within the first 2 comments. In fact, since i mentioned it’s overall technical capability in my original post, I thought you were reffering to that, and I didn’t simply mean ww2 by that, I meant it’s entire service life. (In other words, within the original context, it’d make more sense that your statement reffered to it’s overall abillities). And as this post wasn’t made for discussing it’s capabillities irl specifically in ww2, I’m not sure why we’re still talking about it.
Not relevant. But just in case you want to know: 7 round capacity, gas seal, durabillity.
Sweet
Look what dont you understand?
We are playing a WWII game and your beloved pistol is outdated and by 1940 was a piece of junk
No one cares how it preformed in it’s time period that is completely irrelevant
No need to argue just to argue.
That Norse Knight doesn’t understand context.
It’s as irrelevant as how it performed in ww2.
I believe you may not understand context lmao post about WWII guns in WWII games “my god he must mean something not about WWII, that idiot!”
Your phrasing suggested otherwise.
Please tell me how the crossbow was revolutionary for it’s time
Even tho its trash now
See that’s how irrelevant your argument was
Whatever, this post was made with game balnce in mind. I will no longer respond to retards who bring up irl usage without reason, other than to derail the topic.
