Quick question that has keep me thinking…
What is that German Squad in Berlin that the uniform that has Red/reddish colour in it?
( Not the blood from constant german defeats )

It’s the “green pea” ss camo. Like ghost said, only bots wear those (lucky ones)
There’s two theories about why players can’t have access to it:
1- They censored it, as it’s an iconic ss garb. Looking at the absence of svatiskas in the game and those ridiculous iron cross red flags replacing them makes it plausible
2- the devs are working on some sort of cosmetic update. They will probably monetize this uniform.

I have been “drooling” to get that camo pattern.
My Panzer III M Unit has nice looking outfits at Normandy but that Berlin “bot squad” is very nice indeed.

It’s exactly what I’m referring to: DarkFlow already censor his game. Wich makes me believe they might have censored the uniform use as well, but a bug allows bots to keept spawning with it.
I do hope it’s the latter theory about cosmetic options, though. A camouflage is just a camouflage, we’re not asking to be able to wear the skull and bones pin…

Still wrong, should be the svatiska. But I get why they refrain from using it: some countries are afraid of history and believe censoring it will make the past disappear. As such they would literally ban the game for such a trivial thing. The green pea camo is pushing it however… Hope it will be a cosmetic unlockable, even if a monetized one…

If they truly censor the camo on a World War II game it’s really stupid. Also I don’t understand if there is the ss uniforms on “Hell let lose” why it would be “censored” on this game.

Hell let loose is also censored:
“Germany in Hell Let Loose is based off the WThird Reich, though the game omits any references to Fascism, Nazism or Hitler, in order to release the game through German censors, as German law prohibits the use of Nazi symbols for non-historical or educational purposes .”
It’s because of those laws you rarely see proper imagery in games. They couldn’t sell in countries like Germany if they did. Germans are pretty uptight about it. To a point they say “sorry” more than us Canadians, and that’s saying something! They even disfigured Berlin with a 19000 square metres atrocity so much they are ashamed 🤷

But I saw the ss camo of theses bots of Berlin in Hell let lose, if I remember even in Post scriptum you can see it. Also why does call of duty world at war have the svastika
Because CoD is a game targeting mainly the North American audience. Heck, the whole game franchise looks like pro usa propaganda. They censor a TON of things too, but the svatiska is somehow ok in games.
Also, treyhark (probably misspelling it) and activision are American companies, not subject to the same development laws.

That’s my point: doesn’t exists… germans are always big bad meanies and usa always the glorious heroes. Even though they didn’t enter the war when others needed them and only had already battle tired enemies when they finally decided to join … like in ww1 🤷
