cod waw, return to castle wolfenstein (heck, prety much all wolfenstein games), there is even Bundestags Fighter 2, a game made in germany, with swasticas, sold… in germany.
donno the total reasons, some can some cant. or, why not have both assets and the law’s would be taken care of judgin by the country the end user is playing (like befor on wolfenstein new order/cod waw german version was censored, and rest of the world wasnt.)
the problem wasnt dev the game with or without nazi simbols, but rather the destribution acording to each country laws, was far more effective to be political correct and display a single version to all of the world and avoid the laws of each country against it. the end costumer would still play a ww2 game with or without a swastica in it.
and there is still a debate, if a video game can be displayed as a form of art/educational tool and not a way to promote violence and make kids angry like every single new’s reported GTA vice city on release was for example.i still belive that lays more on the way the person is educated/mental health. i see nazi simbols in every documentary, image i google, info i read, i even grew with them in ww2 games on my childwood (wolfenstein, medal of honour and cod for ex) doesnt make me wanna go outside and kill other races or salute my president with my right arm straight into the air.
just because i see the soviet simbol in every ww2 game, wanna make me promote comunism more because of it. same for any other flag or what ever.
Funny howewer the ww2 and rise of fascim is fault of one sided peace treaty at the end of ww1 drived by the USA with the participation of GB and FRA but hey nobody say this

It was in the 50s he worked with an Italian immigrant at a chemical plant.
They come to speak about Mussolini and why fascism happened in Italy.
This italian immigrant said about italian people “we were starving and we had no work after he arrived and gave us food and work”

Reminder that they turned to powerhungry tyrants who proceeded to commit the worst acts in recorded history. Sure they werent hungry anymore, just watching other people be executed En Masse now. Totally an improvement.

Most people died from starvation after the allies bombed all the farms and rail ways. specifically targeting centers of civilians like Dresden. IMO the allies committed just the same atrocities, only difference was they won.

I think denazification (dunno if accurate in english??? Entnazifizierung in german ) offices have a lot to do with it.

I do not think any of the uniforms should be monetized yet because this may mean little to no future changes on them. Currently the uniforms are completely wrong and just look bad for most character modes of all factions. There needs to be some overhaul of the character models to get it up to par with the weapon/tank models.
