i think you are thinking of the mp41 (r) one
since 717 isnt an event weapon

Whatâs the difference? I swear I got it in an event a while back as DFâs âlet everyone get a chance to have it after Mergeâ
ammo
41 have 35 and 717 have 71
Ooohhh yeah Iâm thinking of the box mag
Definitely needs to be added to the German TT and the Suomi KP-31 and KP-44 should also be added.
I bought 30 to 35 of those back then. And 50 m93.
Yet I donât mind at all if those are implemented in TT. It could help axis tech tree a little and theyâre fun to use.
Axis would have a good smg at br5. Kiraly doesnât cut it with itâs jumping recoil and is br4 worthy.
M93 wouldnât add much advantage other than shooting with a very elegant rifle, that is fun to use.

As for factions exclusivity, it doesnât work like that anymore.
On another note, I would welcome back the tommy 1921 for Soviets which was available in Stalingrad. Not needed by a long shot since Soviets smgs are all better at such br, but itâs fun so why not.
What if we added Soumi kp-31 instead of Ppsh-41?
Maybe slightly change the premium version, give it a little buff so no one is offended.
They just dont have to ask as they get stuff from diffrent factions. (captured or leased)
Just like the allied ofenrohr. Nobody asked for it but the devs gave it anyway.
Meanwhile germany can be happy if they get a more or less reskin of an existing weapon.
Well, youâre mentioning Ofenrohr (Which I also think was a very bad move giving it away like that) when instead they couldâve given a reskinned Bazooka with buffed stats, and I bet it wouldâve been welcomed not as controversially. But thatâs an entirely different topic.
Meanwhile, Iâm talking exclusively about Axis and Soviets weaponry, and how they fit âreasonablyâ in their tech-trees, each one with appropriate counters within the gameâs context. And still retaining a unique flavour in each faction.
US vs GE, thatâs a different mess for another topic.
Then land lease still exists. Those where not domesticly produced so why can you research them?
Or what about the panzerfaust?
If you want to be butt hurt over germany having a captured weapon, when your own tech tree is filled with foraign weapons, then please get rid of those first.
Just add a unique German SMG lol. Copy paste for the purpose of âbut I want that tooâ is the worst type of copy paste.
And if we are honest, the Japanese arsenal is copied from German, Czech and American guns and the FN Browning is just an export version of the Browning Shotgun. The KE-7 was not even used by Japan, but by China, so pretty much all of their gold order weapons.
And Madsen (TT), Chauchat (âEventâ Premium) and Bazooka (TT).
B-but they got the Croatian PPSh modification too!
Then we donât need factions at all. Just give everything to everyone. Since you are okay with it and thatâs what matters most.
Tell that to the devs who started the trend loooong ago with SovietsâŚ
But seriously, a SINGLE captured weapon among all the entries of axis TT, which is what, 50? 100? Really wonât make a difference and require âthe removal of factionsâ
I love my MP717s and I love that they are so unique, along with the M93âs and the soviet Thompsons and Breda.
When I saw this monthâs battle pass I almost thought the folding stock PPSH would be for Germany since they are so similar to the tech tree soviet ones.
The MP717 would be perfect for the new battle pass format so some people could get 4x of them, but I do not think they should be in the tech tree. They are a good gun for battle pass or even events.
Exept they would be a terrible lure for those players who already had bought 20+ MP717 pre merge.
So if they recycle it in the BP a decent amount of the active players might not even want to buy the pass.
KP-31 with 50 ammo mag could be an alternative
The biggest problem i initially considered when creating this thread is, will it hurt the balance ?
Now iâve been running soviet tech tree ppsh for a while, multiple squads, fully upgraded ppsh41 on everyone, and frankly, i donât think its all that overpowered, really, in fact, i was kinda dissapointed a little.
Br5 is where all the super guns like: stg44, fg42 2, mg42 100, as44, fedorov, rd-44, avs and avt, etc etc etc, all these guns appear, and frankly, all them outperform ppsh, iâm not saying ppsh is bad, i still did good and a get a bunch of kills, depending on the map and the skill my german opponents, but i feel like it just aint it. So really, i donât think it creates any sort if imbalance really.
So my points are:
Really, i just canât see a reason why this, and after reading my thread for a bit, apparently all other legacy guns, to not comeback into tech tree, besides âOh i want it to be so unique and speciiiiaaaaaaallllâ and iâm sorry if it sounds mean, but thats just kinda how i feel like players think about it, i might be wrong of course.
Basically, whats the big deal with adding all the legacy guns back into TT ? They arenât op, but they are fun, i just donât see a problem in it.
P.S. One way to go about adding all the legacy guns into TT, is to make them âsequenceâ, basically just folder them into guns like Kiraly and whatnot, this will make it so that you wonât have to grind for them if you dont want to, and can just move onto the next gun in line.
those PewPewSh are mostly shining in CQC area unlique AR wich are more versatile. thatâs why we donât feel this gun that op
