MP35/I: The forgotten powerhouse

Every time I read about how underpowered the Axis are it seems that everyone just forgets about the MP35. This thing a gem that for some reason is over shadowed and rarely mentioned in most campaigns but still the MP35 is VERY good. Its probably the most well rounded SMG in the game with a 32 round magazine, 6.0 damage, 540 ROF and very managable recoil.

I get it, theres no 71 round drum and it isnt an StG44 BUT I dont ever feel under gunned with it. It plays differently than the PPSH but somehow feels better over all to me.

Yeah I like this smg. I use it in both Moscow and Normandy.

Its also unlocked about midway in most campaigns making it a pretty solid mid game weapon until you reach the MP43s/MKBs

I have all of those and I still use it lol I just like that smg.

full star has the accuracy and stability of the base beretta M38 and does 7.2 damage with 600 ROF, but since it doesn’t have 1200 rounds in the magazine and fires a million rounds per second like the ppsh41 it’s not worth “german suffer” :upside_down_face:

It just plays very well. Not bad at anything

i haven’t unlocked the mp35 yet but its stats look fantastic I cant wait to get it though.

hmm the axis aren’t underpowered a lot of the stuff they get is great my personal favorite’s that i have unlocked are the MP38/MP40, Mannlicher M1895, K98, VG-2, FNAB-43, MG13, MP3008 and the MG34. I don’t have much late tier German stuff because i tend to not hard grind a single campaign.

I have never felt at a disadvantage against the allies unless im using the mp28 that thing is just awful.

The MP35 is great to use in any campaign. It can holds its own against PPSHs and Thompson especially at slightly longer ranges. Its ability to stay on target at distance is surprising

zk-383 is another gem when you unlock it in normandy i recommend you use it is a portable lmg, german main complain too much even though they have the best toys

I have yet to try it unfortunately. Im furthest behind in Normandy for Axis than any other campaign

I started to use that one when I got it with full stars. Before that it was kinda meh for me. A full star one is really good.

if you lie down it has no recoil is an automatic fg42, with 32 shots instead of 20

It’s really good, but it’s overshadowed by the Beretta and the mp43 so no one really cares of Germany has 5 good smgs.

to be honest the ZK-383 does look like a very interesting submachine gun kind of an odd concept for a submachine gun to have a bipod however it was ww2 and there were many interesting quirky weapon designs.

Normandy has alot of choice when it comes to infantry weapons especially sub machine guns i wish the other campaigns were the same. Germany on Normandy is my favorite side to play currently just because of the variety you get.

the beretta M38 is overestimated, the current problem with the weapons is that having difficulty in upgrading them, only the basic versions of the weapons are used, and therefore of course, the weapon you unlock later will be more performing than the previous one, but one that you can upgrade the smg with bronze orders for germans, full star mp38, mp40, mp35, zk-383, berettaM38, will be incredibly similar in performance

Mp35 and baretta 40 round are powerful in berlin too.

Amazing guns when fully upgraded.

It was meant to be kind of SAW as far as I know. Czechs had some pretty futuristic concepts during ww2.

How so? They slay in Berlin. The MP35 can easily cover the open areas you advance through to reach objectives with no problem. Same with the MP40 and M38 beretta. They arent bullet hoses by any means but they are much more flexible

True they are good lol but the control and ammo is far better with the assaulters
