MP35? I hate that gun so much. The sights are really bad, the magazine is on the side which means i cant see anything to my right, and THE reload is so slow. The MP40 is so much better when upgraded.

there is also the zk383 which is another amazing gun, i seriously couldn’t say anything bad at it while the mp35’s reload has gotten me killed

If you empty the magazine yes. However if you swap before its at 0 you dont have to do the bolt throw animation

i mostly empty since i would rather know that i’ll have a full mag than have a near empty mag as my next reload

I mean the ZK 383 has a listed reload time of 2.8. The MP35 is 2.9

Edit: its 3.2. I was looking at my upgraded one lol

Which I’m still shilling to be added as a battlepass or premium squad gun because Germany used them with 30 round drum mags in WWI.

In all seriousness, it is a forgotten about, but very effective gun that I use on quite a few of my toops.
The only thing better than it IMO is the ZKS-383 (full Star) on Normandy.
That thing surpasses anything the MP43 can ever hope to do.

Explain how the Zk is better than the mp35 or 40.
Normal damage, normal rate of fire, the sight is large and not very pleasant to me. 30 not 32 rounds in the magazine, I don’t see how it is better than mp35 or beretta m38

if you lie down it has no recoil, and you can use it as a lmg thanks to the bipods, full star is a lmg without recoil, and with more ammo

Honestly, any gun can be mounted on a support when shooting lying down and in that case all guns have no recoil.
I think the bipods are decorative, I have no information that they work. Any gun works the same when mounted on a support.

the zk-383 cancel it you just have to shoot like fg42, you don’t have to compensate the shot just shoot

I see no reason not to enjoy the MP35. Great sight picture and more than acceptable damage, good gun but little weird with recoil. Still very enjoyable IMO.

Lay prone and shoot with it. The Bipod stabilizes it more than any other SMG out there. You can, for the most part maintain full auto to take targets at range.

I actually did a review for it (its gone from my twitch already because I am not a high enough level yet for the videos to stay for a month), but I still have it on my YouTube. The Focus is fine, the sight picture is comfortable for me. If it doesn’t work for you, than it doesn’t. One of my biggest talking points is using the guns that work for you, over the ones that , while better on paper, are not as comfortable to shoot. Its what I do and what works for me.

Hard to say why its not used more than other Guns. I do have MP43’s, and even though I have enough to outfit all my Assault troopers, I do not. I mix my weapons to ensure that I have someone in my squad at all times who can do a specific role for me. Beretta’s for the Up close and Dirty work because of their ROF. MP43’s on Semi for the mid range work. ZK-383’s for the longer range and Mid-Range Suppression and panic fire moments.
Same with my Rifles really. I don’t have all Semi’s , I have them mixed so I can , at all times engage my enemies.

I love running into squads that are all, or mostly all, one weapon class. I can hear the guns report, and in that moment I know exactly what engagement envelope to be in to stand the better chance of taking them down.
Doesn’t always work, I’ll never always be in a favorable position, but if you watch me play you’ll see I am fairly apt at handling myself when it matters.

I’m confused. Are you using the mount weapon option? If not, the zk recoil is indeed lower.
However, it doesn’t work with the mg34/42 because without the bipod mount the recoil is high. Breda has bipods, but visually they are stacked, how does that work?
To be honest, I kept thinking that the bipods so far are a decorative detail that doesn’t affect the behavior of the weapon, because you can mount regardless of their presence.
Anyway, I don’t hate the zk sight, too close to the eye. Mp35 is perfect.
