Mp-41

So basically it requires skill which makes it hard for new players (who came from FPS games) to master it. That doesnt make it a good tank

In my opinion, it is exactly what we need.

If a vehicle gets better the more you use it, you have incentive to keep playing with it.
Raise skill, instead of holding hands.

Another reason why games like TF2 age so well, as you can play it for thousands of hours and never stop improving in it.

Do have to agree that putting the tanks with higher skill floor (but also higher skill ceiling) on the russian side, which has lower average skill and player ammount, did not help.

exactly my point

“just don’t get seen on a small map where you can be heard and marked by any infantry inside 300 yards. Oh me? I’m just gonna sit out in the open with my impervious Panzer II like I always do”

An extremely loud tank that spits out a column of exhaust isn’t exactly the pinacle of stealth. Even the worst teams still know to mark tanks as well.

i’m not here to defend him, but what he meant, i think that, each tank it’s different.

and they have their own play style. as such, you can’t just use them all in the same way and expect to get the same result.

but what @5762269 doesn’t understand ( from what i experienced and seen ) playing with german tanks, isn’t the same thing of playing the soviet tanks.

like, complealty. whenever i play the panzer III i manage to survive a lot of punishments. while in the soviet, if you miss, most of the time, you will get pen. and putted out of action.

from what happened to me today; Enlisted - The PZIII That forgot to die. - YouTube
i just understand and realize that soviet tanks and german tanks should be revisited.

like, the soviet t26 should be replaced by a t-50/t70 while the german panzer III b should be replaced by a panzer 35/38 (t). in order to compete.

cuz right now, there’s such viariety of difference between each other. and it’s not even fair at some point.

as you said, you do good with bt7 and it’s amazing. but i bet you stay away from the battlefield, shoot tank, and shoot couple of infantry. which it’s not what soviet actually need, not tanks far from the frontline just to pop up, and shoot some tanks. it’s effective, but not like a panzer III at the front line.

you don’t get the same results as both tanks are very much diffferent.

but of course, if the majority of soviet players just yeet them self in the middle of battlefield… that’s their problem.

I exactly know this, and I am completely fine with it. The tanks aren’t the same, how do you expect to have them play the exact same way? I do like the asymetrical gameplay styles between them.

I never said the T-26 does not need a replacement, only that the 3B does.

That might be something to revisit later.

I actually roam between short and long range, continuously moving from building to building, shooting HE into rooms, and into cap points. Can be just as effective as sitting at the front, inviting people to shoot you, while mowing them down with MG fire.

What I’ve found with my T-26 is that it’s all about being contested or not for the Soviets.

Being at the front line (for the most part, explosives are still a threat) is functionally no different then hanging back at the edges, as if anyone puts in the effort to go after you with a Panzer, antimaterial rifle, or AT gun you’re dead no matter what. If they don’t put in the effort you can go wherever you want. The only reason Russian tanks can do anything is because German players rarely use antimaterial rifles for some reason.

It’s that so many Soviet tanks functionally share the same turret and gun that they all share the same problem that any hit will wipe out the crew.
Maybe a T-50 with its bouncy armor will help a bit, but it seems like there’s too much of a line between helpless Soviet tanks and Soviet tanks that would be unkillable if implemented.

Making German tanks equally vulnerable to long-range AT in the same way that Russian tanks are seems to be the simpler and more sensible way to go.

I’ve managed to got two of my friends to buy access to the Enlisted CBT. They’re already getting tired of the game because of how insane the MP-41 and Premium squads are, combined with all of the other lingering imbalances and fucked game mechanics. We really like the potential this game has, but the devs need to act on it.
