They should not as the fuze is only 1 mm on the APHE.
Perhaps with how flat the side armor is… maybe the drivers hatch or such but even then the regular tiger has a much more flat profile compared to tiger which what you mention doesn’t surprise me considering that.
I will however clarify i’m talking about the tiger 2 H… i’ve even went through the top of turret and it only damages taking one or two crew… keeping your plane perfectly straight on a dive while lining up that perfect ammo shot is just anything but easy.

And so you know you can’t one shot a plane with 45mm most of the time, not to mention a player control plane is harder to hit by cannon.

Uh… yeah you can… it quite literally renders all planes inoperable with one shot no matter where.
Although i hit a 262 in a turn fight earlier and he started smoking and i can’t imagine my 50 cals did that… maybe he tanked a 45 and it looked like he was when i was behind but i dunno.
