Since the Yak-9K was given that magical 1mm-fused APHE shell (straight from War Thunder), German tanks – especially fragile boxes like the Panzer IV – have become pure cannon fodder for it. Even Panthers and Tigers can end up as lunch for skilled Yak-9 pilots. It’s time to move the Yak-9K to BR 4 or 5 and give Panzer IVs a chance to survive.

its almost always randoms not having any first hand experience with a certain weapon/squad, but after getting blown up once by an enemy coming here and making dumb demands.
the yak9k is fun & cool if the enemies spam tanks. against infantry its useless & against most fighter planes its very weak.
even without having played that plane, everyone with real understanding of the game will see how situational it is and how its just a strong plane for narrow situations. overall the p40e from br2 is better, which is why i am using it above the yak9k. the yak is just a nice plane to have in addition for meming on the enemies. who are too lazy to place AAs

Well there is a lot better planes at BR III then this crap Yak-9K there is even BR II planes. Its hard to say without major plane rework that there will be positive change. Literally planes from BR I to BR III can destroy PZ IV there is nothing PZ IV can do about its a very flat tank that even a 20 mm can take out on the engine there is no protection so really its pointless to move Yak-9k since it changes nothing.
It is not necessary to talk about the effectiveness of the Yak-9k when there is this: HS 129 B-3 it literally destroys any tanks, even BR5 with a single shot on the range, and it is worth considering that the equipment is empty and the only way to destroy it is an explosion of ammunition

No mistake, the yak 9k is cracked (Eats planes and tanks for breaky). Its saving grace in Enlisted is its not anti infantry
It doesnt have the same kryptonite opponent as in warthunder (spitfire)
Even then it still runs rampant there. Type yak 9k in you tube and i bet the top videos will be “OP” lol

There is a lot of planes need moving and really Yak 9K was the last on my list I didnt even mention it since it has no anti infantry capabilities. Its good against vehicles but the moment the enemy stop spamming vehicles what you gonna do ?

Sometimes specially on some maps the Stalingrad factory map or the berlin maps the plane is so ulsess. BF 110 C-6 is much better option since here you must have a way to stop infantry they are the main driving force in Enlisted its not the tanks its not the planes. The best planes are those that can kill infantry and yet be able to kill other planes and tanks. And sadly the Yak 9K suffers from the same problem the VC/Trop suffers absolutely insane plane vs vehicles but the moment there is none all your best options is to hunt apcs
But at least Yak 9K have fast cannon not like the P63 super slow cannon…
