the MG 34 was a widely used pre war machine gun yet is only used in BR III same with the DP 27. the machine guns before that are quite useless and only from the mg 34 onwards does the machine gunner make any impact.
And seeing as the MG 42 is from 1942 i feel that BR III is more fitting to unlock it instead of IV and V. It was available a year before the panzerfaust and also used in big numbers. This i feel would buff the germans a bit more on the battlefield.

Since the Fedorov Avtomat was released during the First World War, I think that the Br1 is more appropriate for it.

No, MG13 is one of the best MGs for BR2, MG34 is also great for BR3, MG42 is too powerful for BR3, just compare it with DP27.
The year is not a good basis for BR layout, we can’t bring PPSH41 to BR2 because it was made in 1941.
It’s weaker than BR3 MG34 though.
Recoil and ROF are slightly better.
Also, the sign is much better (I know this is not the basis of BRs, but the MG34 is already more powerful for BR3, I don’t think there is a need to take the MG42 there, the problem with the Germans there is not the MGs)

maybe it’s possible to bring all the BR4 MGs to BR3, I’m not sure about the MG 34 75 and that Japanese MG, but the DT 29, MG 42 and Johnson aren’t much different from their predecessors.
