Move the MG 34 and MG 42 one tier down respectively

Actually - counter proposal:

Bring down almost all MGs by one BR.

There are no BR1 MGs and quite alot could move down considering BR1 SMGs exists.

the MG 34 was a widely used pre war machine gun yet is only used in BR III same with the DP 27.

This has no meaning on BR’s, they’re based off the performance of a gun , not history

Since the Fedorov Avtomat was released during the First World War, I think that the Br1 is more appropriate for it.

Same could be said for the BAR as it was produced during WW1, and the Thompson shortly after and I don’t think anyone would want these at level one. Well, I would, but I’m American to. However, that would be ridiculous in this game.

OP is delusional, but I will protect him anyway.
We have many SMGs that perform as well or outright out perform BR3 weapons, not just MGs but also SMGs so a correction in BR is needed, but instead of moving MG-34, DP-27, BARs ect down we should move the overpowered SMGs to BR3.

But allow me to prove my point, M1A1 Thompson is supperior to MP35/I in every way, except for muzzle velocity.
Pps-43 and Uragan are only slightly weaker than Beretta 38 (40), Type 100 (late) and ZK-383. But are leagues above MP40, M3A1 Grease gun (and other BR2 SMGs with fire rate of 500 or lower).

Overall, we should prioritize moving things up rather than down, as low BRs are overbloated with stuff compared to higher BRs.

I know it’s not as convenient for the devs, but they should move things up even at the cost of having to buff them somehow.

But as always, there are some exceptions.

I don’t think it would be very controversial to move se stuff from BR2 to BR1, or from BR5 to BR4. As those BRs much less popular or content filled.

Germany got completely power creped and mp40 past 20m becomes br1 smg in power (sten 2), vs vit+body armor it’s a br1 weapon even at 0m. It’s dispersion and visual recoil are really bad. Dmg needs to be increased further and op body armor buff need to be gone.

Mp40 is even worse than expected it loses it’s 2 hit capability after just 15m (vs vit):

And seeing as the MG 42 is from 1942 i feel that BR III is more fitting to unlock it instead of IV and V
