And in my experience Soviets are stronger than Germany across multiple BRs, WR is lower only because teammates a lot of the times don’t have brains to build rallies/capture points they just grind kills

It’s a subjective opinion not a fact, you can kill 10 people in a single magazine of mkb35 does it mean that Germany is the best nation in game? Ofc not. Soviets can use PPS-42 and murder your entire squad both at close and mid range as their recoil and sights are so comfortable to use.
It’s the soviets that have no brains, at least Germans are still winning through a sheer will despite having crappy guns and bad tanks and mediocre planes (IAR is only good plane), they always build plenty of rallies and spam apcs
I will complain as the are the weakest nation at BR2, BR3 and BR5 are also suffering hard after soviet buffs and still not fixing ppsh-41 box, they having svt-38 and unnerfed rmn-50. Dicker is at BR3 as it’s a counter to KV-1 and Sherman it has more reliable one hit kill capacity than Sturmpanzer ii that has to pray to God every time it engages enemy tank.
First it would be better to see how it performs ingame. I think with barely any armor, it should be oneshot from every tank and easy killable by AT weapons…
Hate to break it to you, but the whole point of this is how the Soviets vs. the Germans are just better. How many of those battles were against the Americans? Whenever I seem to play the Germans, nine times out of ten lately I’m up against the Americans, not the Soviets. Therefore, any of those games that are against the Americans are irrelevant and shouldn’t factor into your data as we are discussing the Soviets versus Germany, not Germany as a whole.
As for the original post, just no. This tank doesn’t need to move to BR III. I feel that it has been demonstrated that it can adequately be destroyed by pretty much anyone with a thread of experience. Sure, maybe the newest players won’t know, but they’ll learn.
I also think there’s a big part of this that is being overlooked that was kinda mentioned by @ErikaKalkbrenner ; how much are we going to see this tank in battle? I mean, sure, of course a lot during and right after the event due to the cool factor, but I mean in the long run. No armor, little mobility, open top; why the heck do we think we’re going to constantly see it at BR II when we have better tanks (Pz. IV F2) just with a less powerful HE?
But what’s the good side of this tank? More powerful HE. Yeah. Totally makes this a good idea to move it to BR III just to protect the “HE spam”. To be honest, lately I haven’t even noticed HE spam between BR II and BR III. I’ve played probably 6-8 games in the last 24 hours (half the Americans at BR II, half with Germans between BR II-III) and none of them had a significant issue with tanks. On top of this, I’ve played about half of those games in BR II and the other half in BR III; with BR II, I pretty much just faced BR III, and vice versa with BR III. Maybe I am having a different experience than everyone else, but I really think that this tank is going to be a non-issue.
However, it does seem to me that any time Germany gets something that is just slightly better or more overpowered than something else (this tank, the Duck, Pz. III N, etc.), everyone freaks out. Sure, Pz. III N getting moved was the right decision, but you understand my point. But, as other posters and countless others have mentioned, the Russians have the PPSs and the Uragan at BR II while Germany only has the Beretta M1918 and PPSH Obrez to match that firerate (with neither gun being as accurate) but yet we don’t hear the masses screaming about how we have to change their BR and the devs actually listening to them.
No, it doesn’t deserve a BR change. The ХA wasn’t moved, the Solothurn wasn’t moved either, and this tank shouldn’t be moved either. It literally gets penetrated by any weapon. Only USSR mains who go to low BR for easy farming are talking about moving it.
I expected to see such a ‘smart’ take from [Eva] players, who also want to make the penalty for leaving battles even harsher. This is deliberate sabotage
They only care if it affects Soviets/Americans as they love abusing most overpowered squads and guns at BR5 (eg Assault engineers with 6x Fedorov Avtomats).
They would never make suggestion to give Germany similar gun at BR5. I’m just surprised that they are still not using RD-44 maybe they will once someone going to wipe their squads few times in a row.
Of course they won’t suggest it. Not only that—on their own Discord servers, they outright say: ‘WE WILL CHANGE THIS TANK’S BR.’ They don’t want balance; they hide behind it to push their own agenda. If you only knew the screeching over buffing the FG 42. This farce needs to keep going, right? Half the people clamoring for USSR buffs are F2P players who refuse to spend a single cent on the game. They couldn’t care less if the game dies—they’ll just jump to the next free project.

Not yet, but they’ve pulled this off before. On a Russian forum, a similar topic got 40 likes, and people are upset that it’s not gaining as much traction here. Most likely, the issue was highlighted in Telegram groups and Discord, and they rallied a crowd to come support it. This is a common tactic — trying to get their way through whining. We’re in the minority there, gentlemen, and we’re doing everything we can to hold the line
