Nobody made a proper suggestion topic about the uragan’s BR

move it to BR3

done

maybe nobody makes these suggestions because its obviously OP and no one needs to even talk about it because its self explanatory? Duh?

PPS 42 → BR3 Beretta M38A dps
PPS 43 → BR3 ZK 383 dps
Uragan → get close to BR4 Kiraly dps

conclusion: Soviet SMGs are about one BR lower than they should be.

Suggestion:
move Uragan to BR3

lower PPS 43 rate of fire to 600 rpm (like PPS42)

lower PPS 42 rate of fire to 500 rpm (like MP40)
-which is even histrionically accurate

Bonus:
PPSH 41 box still has 25 deviation.
MP40 has 82.
G43 has 26 !!!

PPSH 41 box has better accuracy than a rifle.

You forgot to add colours for them otherwise no one wants to read this.

But who am I kidding because we are dealing with developers who thought 20 round Beretta in Moscow was balanced against the PPSH so I guess good luck

which ultimately changed - so there is hope, a concept that is completely missing from your existence

For me, I don’t really care what level the Uragan is because I don’t even use it at level two. I have better luck using the PPS-42. That being said, the Uragan is overkill at level two as they already have the best level two smg’s without it, and with the PPS-43 being over buffed from what it actually should be, they don’t need the Uragan at level two. So, should it be raised to level three? IDK, but it certainly is not needed at level two. However, this is one I won’t loose sleep over. Now, the underbuffing of the FNAB 43, I do lose sleep over. :expressionless:

I won’t complain about any changes to that weapon, nothing like the PPS 42 can be perfect, high RoF is waste of bullets.

I’m a perfectly fine individual but when we look at these developers I have no hope for them because we have perfectly good working examples but they refuse to use them and when it comes to the map layouts they’re absolutely horrendous and make no sense even from a defense standpoint or tactical standpoint.

rate of fire nerfs to both PPS42 and PPS43 should be the better solution than giving Germany also a BR3 / BR4 powered SMG at BR2.

BR2 is supposed to have low DPS SMGs

Thompson BR2 should also obviously be replaced with a 20 round magazine version.

Now you’re being foolish because if you’ve been here long enough you should know things don’t work that way

what? the devs are unable to change their game?

dude, stop living with depression and be realistic for once.

I think it should be moved to BR3 with accuracy buff, a great alternative to the PPSH41 Box.

Yeah and that’s why our mod makers are in hell being ignored and anything positive that could have been done in the last few years has been ignored.

better accuracy does make sense considering that ZK 383 has a deviation stat of 62

Yes, and I will use it, because the RoF of the PPSH41 Box is too high and I prefer a weapon like the ZK 383.

Or devs could move PPS-43 up to BR3, but give it the same recoil as PPS-42 and better dispersion, making it similar to ZK-383.
Uragan and M1A1 Thompson as they are, have nothing to do on BR2 and must be moved back to BR3 where they belong.

M1A1 Thompson with 20 round mag would be acceptable for BR2, though it would still be power creep.
Plus correct both the MP40 and Beretta 38/42´s fire rate which were 550 rpm historically.

PPSH box should get something around 75 deviation, in comparison to PPSH drum having 82 deviation ( considering that the box mag does make shooting the gun less awkward.

and then you could give the Uragan 70 deviation to make it a bit worse than ZK 383 in exchange for it having a faster reload and bigger mag.

also MP40 and PPS 42 which would then have the same rate of fire should also get a dispersion buff so that they are more accurate than faster shooting guns.

Devs should really add some slower firing SMGs for Soviets, they have more than enough high fire SMGs.
Weapons like Bujinov CB M1944 SMG (30 round magazine and 450 rpm, 9x19 parabellum) or Arsenal Tallinn M38 for BR1 (9x20 browning).
Arsenal Tallinn M23 (9x20 browning) for BR3, similar to SIG 1920.

I agree, I don’t like playing with SMGs that have small magazines but high RoF.

devs just use the russian wikipedia as “source” (worst copium on the planet when it comes to WW2) which claims 600 rpm for pps-42.

if you check the video its fire rate is clearly between 500-600, slightly more than 550 I would say.
Though he is firing modern civ tokarev rounds that are more powerful than Soviet era mil grade rounds, so its probably firing faster due to that.

so? no matter the source, its ingame performance is no mystery and should get the correct BRs

nah thats above 600 rpm in this video
