Most of the German player base are angry kids who watched few YouTube videos of how Wehrmacht was best army in the world and who are mad at PPSh ROF.
They win when they have few good players that can carry on their side. They don’t see how Mg34 is miles better than anything Soviets have, Kar98k beats Mosin all day long, even starter Gw33/40 is Wunderwaffe compared to Soviet counter pad.
They loose when they don’t. And then they get mad at PPSh.

German army wasnt that great at start of ww2, and also at the end of the war. I dont actually care about how actually WW2 went IRL or shit, all i want is a game.
I both Finished Axis and Allied at all Campaigns except tunisia, and Mostly PPSh does it all at both Berlin and Moscow. PPSh can give a fuck to MG, all you need to do is just sit down and Brrrrrrrrrrt. unlike the MGs PPSh can fire while in move, and it is a damn big advantage too. All you need to do with PPSh is just shoot Brrrrrrrr, and enjoy the recoiless laser gun of death which shoots each rounds in 1000 RPM. as a soviet user It is damn easy and funny to grind those germans, but as German user it isnt that good experience.
And as a soviet user being hammered by Pz4’s and MG34’s and 42’s isn’t fun either - so what?
Oh - you can’t move and shoot well with a MG42? How about you learn to position it well so you don’t have to then? Oh - you can’t attack points? No shit - nor should you be able to - it’s not supposed to be a submachinegun - stop trying to use it like one!
I seem to get killed by Axis SMG’s wqithout any bother at all - and I seem to be able top miss wit hhe PPSh -pretty often too - so I completely reject your characterisations as being overblwn hype of no validity or use to the game at all.
The armies are different, have diferent advantages, and aren’t carbon copies of each other - if you want that then I’m sure there is something, somewhere, that will give you perfect balance at every level.

Dont forget that MG42is both only avaiable for Allies and Axis as Stationary MG at Moscow my dear, also the T-50 with impenetratable body armour.
Not just the German player base but everywhere. Aweful.
T-50 loses it’s entire turret crew to a cupola hit from 50mm or 75mm, or the side of the turret and large bits of the front of the turret - why wouly you shoot at the hull??
They have said the MG42 will go from the MG nests, but I wasn’t talking about those anyway - the squad MG’s for the Germ,ans are great.

Well As you said Panzer 4s could Penetrate the T-50, T-50 also could panzer 4 anywhere. and as I said german MGs are heavily nerfed, its bullet diversion is now even bigger than a PPSH or PPD. even they are good at Firing at Attatched or layed down, it is true that its Reactivity is hell a lot lower than PPSh.
have you ever played both 20round Beretta M38 or PPSh at moscow? I bet you havent.

Oh teh suffering… that ppsh just demolishes everything… german mg13 is so bad that i can only 1 tap soviets at range where he needs 40 rounds kill me with his godly drummagazine. He dont evenneed gun, that magazine alone will win games for him
