I noticed that the italian soldiers only have their own cosmectics on the tunisian front but i want to equip them with italian uniforms and also recruit italian soldiers same with the Brits in the American faction i wish there was a way to choose your own nationality and give the italians their own cosmetics.

there are good, and bad news.
good news, developers stated that they are working on a feature that for appearance cards, you can change the nationality of their soldiers in the future ( no eta… was supposed to be done for 2024. but many things got delayed ) over their road map:
as it goes for uniforms though,
developers claimed that they wanted to keep the customization " historically accurate " despite never have been historical accurate in the first place.
and italians are somewhat of an after thought considering that most of the pre merge squads were removed. leaving only the machinegunner type 1 in the tech tree alongside an engineer squad if not mistaken.
they never commented or ever mentioned italian / british appearances onto other squads.
so, maybe in a distant future.
but, in my personal opinion, they should kinda disregard the whole HA argument as this game never was, nor ever will be.
seeing italians in berlin albe it questionable, not sure how " worse " would it actually be, than per say, most gold order weapons, or half of the japanese tech tree.
it’s also funny to mention that, while the italians might wear german uniforms, they still speak italian.
so there goes the attempt to cover them from being in places where historically they weren’t.

its because darkflow is lazy and neglectful - italian premium squads such as the legacy FNAB-43 squad from tunisia are able to use their uniforms in normandy for example
In my opinion giving us more uniforms would make the game more historically accurate!
People shout down a separate UK-Commonwealth and Italian + Other Axis Nations tree but at the moment those seem to the only way to actually have all British/Commonwealth or all Italian squads.
I’ve said it before, I shall repeat it.
Even Roblox D Day, a child’s game, had unique uniforms for USA, UK, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Free French, Free Belgian, Free Czech and Free Polish. And considering it was Roblox those uniforms were pretty accurate (the Belgian one was surprisingly detailed).
Yet here we have this ‘historically accurate’ ‘realistic’ supposedly mature game and after 5 years they still cant even add a USA and UK flag to tech tree and just let us click which nationality we want our soldiers to be.
By now I’d have hoped that to use an Axis example we would have flags for Germany, Italy, Hungary, Romania, Slovakia, Croatia and Finland and you would click that flag and all the soldiers in that squad get the default of that nation’s uniform.
Each would have a default ‘European’ uniform and then winter uniform or desert uniform where appropriate.
Finns or Croats in Tunisia for example would automatically swap to standard German desert uniforms.
The Commonwealth as has been discussed many times, is very easy to do.
We already have uniforms for Australia and New Zealand yet DF refuses to make them freely available, including the tech tree Australian 1st Agas uniform which is just a standard Australian Army uniform I dont understand why it needs to be limited to the guerilla squad.
Canadians just need CANADA written on the shoulder of existing British uniforms (which for the most part is what Roblox D Day did)
British India just take standard British uniform and allow for Indian soldiers as an appearance and the option of a turban for headgear if so desired.
A kilt and checkered forage cap for Scots wouldve been fun too.
But NOPE. Instead DF is focused on creating zombies, American Indians, French policeman, American gangsters, aliens, even modern uniforms, weapons and tanks.

You can already see them in Berlin.
Just play with an Italian premium squad, not that it would matter since Darkflow defenestrated HA the day they added Chinese squads to the game that are present in all Allied campaigns from Normandy to Pacific.
