It would be nice with more British squads. There are no standard sniper squads that are British, for example.
Usable/at all useful tank squads are also all american unless I am not mistaken. Same with planes.
The British engineer squad I have can’t build a machine gun, so that goes out the window pretty much, too. Assaulter squads exist and are decent, so that is good.
It would be very appreciated to add more British squads, by and large. And for them to not be (useless and unmodifiable) premium stuff or generally inferior in terms of tech tree options (like the missing engineer machine gun nest).
I really like the event Bren Carrier APC squad. Also very thankful for the Agas Party guerillas. But please make more British regular content that is always available and as standard. Not a fan of playing american, would prefer an all English setup.
As a sidenote. It is quite odd that american squads can use British weapons like the Enfield no 4.
have to say i feel good i never said i dont want to play brits thanks for being a real tosser you are making americans looks better. but the fault is two parts that make three options, american unit dressed up as brits, brits dressed up and american or brits dressed up as brit. you would need a brit unit for every class
assaulter, sniper, medic, radio, mg, flame ect a dozen squads
one to cover each br of tank, fighter, attacker that is 6 to nine squads
minus the brit squad we have that is 20 minus x or a boat load of work
then who knows how many cosmetics
then nightmare 3rd leg brit weapons if you want brit units with brit uniforms with brit guns
for low br guns you are largely good but
semi auto rifle, sf rifle, high level mgs and smgs, flame thrower, high level at weapons
high level tanks and planes
the content would require 30 to 50% new content to the us/allies
Yes because Britain should stop being shafted. Italy too. If they’re not going to be independent factions for the foreseeable future then they should be fully fleshed out. WW2 did not begin on June 6, 1944 and America single handedly defeated everyone.

Weapon choice does not matter because anyone can equip anything they want. Personally I will only use Brit weapons with Brit squads, but if someone wants to equip their Brits with T20 Garands that’s perfectly fine. The point is that British content is at least THERE
Even then Britain has enough potential content. They could’ve made the Bren 100 RT then BOOM there’s your high BR MG. But of coarse they think Britain is a pariah so they made a perfectly good high BR MG a gold order

The uk man for man fought and paid a higher price then any but the ussr and a few others. But the US was an awakening giant. It armed the allies and itself putting so many into uniform that women replaced me. In the factories. Calling the uk contribution disproportional to its strength honest. Calling a smaller weaker country suffering on the front lines equal military power is an arrogant boast and insult. It says a larger stronger safer country pulled it’s punches.
US joined the war later then the Brits who themselves were late to the war. When German invaded the sudaton land when Italy invaded Ethiopia, when the ussr invaded Finland. Everyone joined WW2 late the us joined the war when Japan forsed them into it. By the end of the war the US had built a navy that surpassed all other WW2 navies combined, with more fire power then all other navies combined had they not lost a ship

But for much of the early war it well defended

Insults are unnecessary. If you are american, I apologize if you took offense. I am not English and I do not hate americans or even care for american politics, one way or another. That is kind of it. I do not care. America does not engage me. Not a fan. Not a hater. Ambivalent.
But I really would like to play Brits, because I love England and English military culture. Which is rather different from most others. Commonwealth forces really should be entirely playable with a full roster of squads. Which is all I am actually meaning to say with this thread OP.

but you have to understand fleshing out a uk lineup to play any class and br is a lot more work
one these are not volunteers these paid employees at a company
given the drip of content it would take a year without events or replace all content uk centric events exclusively to make up a distinct faction you could play without using us squads
this is not just reskinning they have create distinct squads
this is not a few hours but hundreds or thousands of work hours and to give out squads in events
I used to watch Japanese Ninja Warrior on TV years ago when it started popping up on a US channel, it got so popular that they started American Ninja Warrior in the US. I assume that all of them are still going, but I haven’t watched them in a few years.
I fully support your motion for more British event squadrons. I would like the Cromwell to be an event squadron for BR II, the entire squadron, not just the tank or some British sniper squadron. A very good idea.
