So, following my earlier post (Semi auto sniper test results) with results from the semi-auto snipers I decided to test the MKB 42 as well. We all know it’s an assault rifle posing as a sniper rifle but I figured why not. Same distance as the rest, lowest level star rating, prone and braced
because of its low magnified optic it is kinda cool to have, you can get good consistent hits at mid range, and even one hit kills with a headshot.
Personally I like it, and even tho it is not as accurate as a semi auto, it has its place in the game, unlike the Gewehr 98 with a too little magnified optic to be useful, or the Sniper FG with a too big magnified optic that doesnt fit its bad accuracy.
definitely agree. Fits its close/mid range roll very well.
You know what is funny about current unlocks?
The way it now is, you get the longest range sniper rifles first and as lvl goes up, optimal range goes down… regular k98 (long range) AMAZING g98 (sadly it’s scope is good for mid range) and lastly, mkb42h (close mid range)
same goes for other campaigns.
very true. the real sniper rifles are all unlocked early (minus Tunisia).
Picked up the Lee enfield Sniper rifles the other day, and that one is super awesome, definitely the best bolt action sniper rifle. The Gewehr 98 has more dmg and is overall really strong ( and if you modify your field of view to artificially increase your “zoom” you can make this rifle super powerful, yet… well whos gonna do that? )
I never play as a dedicated sniper but I just unlocked the Enfield No 4 (T) and man…it is amazing
Not going to lie, the top tier sniper you unlock in tunisia as the axis is hellla disappointing. It feels… pretty much the exact same as the first one.
Thats the only one I dont have to actually test unfortunately but I dont think the No 4 sniper can be topped
the scope, fire rate and accuracy are really great, had fun using it at midrange.
Its pretty accurate i tell ya. Slap on the single fire and you can actually snipe snipers with it at long range 
But sure it does have some small deviations at times and bullets of an bb gun ^^ Clean headshots though…Also the bullets works some how like an silencer to which is neat 
But yes at lowest star that fire picture looks to be right for sure
The last sniper unlock in Tunisia is a hard hitting but in other aspects a crap gun. I dont think anything will ever compare to the quick scoping, fast firing, and versatile Mod. 38. Especially with perks involved.
Also great work so far, these tests are super sweet to have, would be interesting to see the results of more weapons - or even some “accuracy stats” at the weapons description. Like a simple MOA number or something.
Mp43 has at least twice more dispersion than mkb I can tell. For some ppl it’s just so so but as a mp43 user I’m very jealous about it and dream of it being added into Normandy
Maybe I’ll do more then if enough people are interested. I was thinking machine guns next
if you want stock MG disperation at 75m then i’ve got you covered for everything but vickers B, DT, and MG34 PT
We need a comparison between mp43 and sniper mkb.
to be fair, who ever unlocked it will be using the “sniper squad” as an assault squad
im more using it as an behind enemy lines to disrupt and take out spawn points while the others cap type of squad. Its an excellent sniper asw when upgraded so def an jack of all trades for all kinds of situations weapon that fits perfect on flanks. But yeah its an beast in close quarters to ^^
mostly i find it near a cap point
