Missing Customizations Part 2

In this post I’m showing customizations which could be added in to the main game but aren’t (for some reason).

  1. Brodie helmet (variants)
In a portion of images from the official Enlisted site are shown webbed and webbed camouflage variants (like for the M1 helmet) of the Brodie helmet. It has been shown since the Tunisia campaign update, but it’s nowhere to be seen.

P.S. Also the officer jacket from the first image was reused for the australian sniper squad (premium), but again wasn’t implemented in the base game.

2.Soviet APC squad - Moscow customization
When the APC squads were shown, the soviets had the motorized/tank division peaked cap (which is completely historically accurate), but when the update came they recieved the NKVD peaked cap (like assaulters in the Battle of Moscow, which obviously was incorrect). And now the NKVD squad looks incorrect.

I personally think that it would be better for the APC squads to look more similar to tank squads (like most of them did at that time). And instead of this, we get that:

Accurate representation :

4.Soviet NKVD uniform

5.Mechanized division officers, 1945

If Enlisted developers want the Moscow assaulters to stay with peaked caps just replace them with these:
6.Soviet infantry peaked cap

3.Unchanged camouflage pattern for Germany
Since “Making Enlisted a Better Place №25” the helmet camouflage pattern stayed the same, while the uniform changed.
1.The exact image used to portray the uniform changes

I would like to remind you that most german comouflage patterns are the Pea dot pattern (used from 1944 to 1945 by the Schutzstaffel (SS)).
If you are interested, these are the camouflage patterns used by germans in the second world war:

Personal opinion - we should have the plant camouflaged Stalhelm from the TZ - 45 gold squad.

And also a better camouflage options for soviets and japanese.

Enlisted developers please make japanese and american customizations normal and standardized (like everyone else’s).

i made an extensive ( yet, unfortunately, i recognize that it does not cover all of them ) document with such outfits:

anyway, small precisations:

as shown in the photo, items are there, but just not available:

|600.8113874583357x339.0303569535902|603.5348834754034x338.88015487708117

but we do the m41 variant. beside the coat.

well, it’s only personal. so i respect that.

but the problem is, in reality, the camouflage should be available. not the grass helmets.

as we can wear those uniforms on the medic squads, and the pants are available in normandy and berlin.
( it wouldn’t make much sense that only the medic and prem squads can wear such uniforms. )

but again, it’s a slippery slope.

anyway.

agreed.

we lack something like 70% of the cosmetcs inside the editor, or even just base uniforms that some squads comes default with.

aka,

  • the nkvd uniform from the berlin squads over normandy.
  • sniper customizations of the germans squads over others squads presets. ( gray uniform from berlin, white pants from stalingrad, hat & green helmet from normandy, etc )
  • US paratrooper gloves on all but 3 lonely squads that can wear the yellow gloves
  • german paratrooper helmets from normandy mortars & berllin flame trooper + machinegunner squads presets
  • several premium and event squads still lacks customization options to this day
  • iconic and historical japan tan uniform being locked behind a tanker squad.
  • missing correct pouches on all type of uniforms to be more in line and extensive like the soviet customization over stalingrad / rzhev ( and to some extent, the german stalingrad customization. even though i’d argue those are still missing several pieces and pouches unlike the soviets )

etc.

well, there are many more.

but this alone, which i was commissioned to do, gives planty of work to do already.

when they said " customization improvements " etc on the road map, i personally wouldn’t accept anything more or less than a full dedicated major update.
i’m not even kidding.

but… only time will tell i guess.

forgot to mention, and i was going to make a thread about it;

i would dare to say, rework the model too.

it looks too… inflated compared to what it’s supposed to be:

OIP

( lacks the " stripes " details )

and they should include the missing camouflages ( sumptarn, planetree ( both summer & autumn versions ) pea dots ( both summer & autumn ) winter, uni colors ( since they did used green and gray covers ) and the various splintertarns patterns.

Would love to see all of these added one day! We also need a shrimp netted variation of the m1 helmet too.

Just finished reading it.
It may be a bit long, however it is very impressive and informative. It is shocking how many missing content is in the game.
Lots of good work and effort put into it and definitely answered my questions.
Specially with the attachable_wear_m40_smocks_ger_tropic_moto_item.
I highly recommend for others to view it.

I’m a big fan of your topics about customizations, especially about paratrooper and APC squads. I personally think that squads should have customizations that fit more the division, instead of the class.

thanks

i can agree, but at the same time,

i think it shouldn’t really matter.

everyone should be able to dress up their squad like they want ( as long it makes sense. aka, no winter uniforms on the desert, and vice versa )

and to an extent of " trolly " appearance. imagine, having medics helmets on other soldiers but the medic them selves :joy:

but, the problem with that ( themed squads cosmetics based on what they are ), is that for example, most of the Luftwaffe squads are pre legacy squads. or, most of the US paratrooper / british / italians squads

only one or two squad available in the current TT gets access to such cosmetics.

and, i think the player should decide the theme of his / her own squads.
instead of being forced, or having options locked because that person didn’t unlocked squad before the merge.

however, with the lacklaster selection, nothing can be achieved.
