Mine shouldn't be spam indoor

Spamming AP mine In a crowded room where people are fighting is an annoying tactic and don’t make any sense
Especially on a map like Hitler’s office

I agree that mines should be used to deter reckless attackers, but it is completely unreasonable to continuously place mines in an indoor combat zone, especially in an area where both teams will constantly pass by.

My suggestion is to demarcate areas based on terrain where mines cannot be used
Or make mines cause friendly damage, since mines should not be used as one-way doors. It’s more like a invisible and deadly barbed wire.

There are no problems except model penetration.
You can try to use explosive weapons to clear them out

This only applies when the battle is not intense.
There’s nothing you can do when the rally point in the opposite room keeps spawning soldiers with automatic weapons and new mines.

I want say (again) that’s the simplest and effective solution Is add a perk to every soldier class who let them sport the mine if

  • The soldiers isn’t running
  • The mine is in the POV of the soldiers
  • The mine is at least at 5m from the soldier

In this way mine placed behind thing keep be relevant but mine place in the middle of the road aren’t anymore a treat even for the most clueless player

Haha, yes, I have also seen many people complain about landmines
But at that time, I just thought “it’s not that serious, just be more careful, and as long as you have enough experience, mines won’t be a problem.”
I consider myself experienced in enlisted and often lead teams, but now I realize that mines still have the potential to be toxic in the intense battles of the top tier.

You should only be able to place mines on soft ground not on floors. Makes no sense that the mine sinks to the ground

I don’t think this still solves the problem, at least not the one I’m experiencing
Finding landmines is not difficult, the key is how to deal with them
For example, I know that this corridor is full of mines. Of course, I can carefully shoot every mine I find, but you have to face enemies with selective fire rifles on the opposite side at any time. In a BRV battle, a slight disadvantage is enough to make you Lose an entire squad.
And it’s even more painful when you’re facing a rally point room that keeps spawning soldiers. Cause they can rush to you without getting any damage.

Another Mine post…

@CaptainSebekel

Get in here and slap box fight with me over who has the biggest Johnson or maybe a litte over politics.

I’m a card carrying “mine spammer” - I get 15 mine kills in a good defence game… useful but it isn’t a game winner on its own.

If you are giving opposing players more mine kills than that then you are the problem.

I also spot and destroy up to a handful of mines in an average game when I bother looking.

I agree mines can be toxic, for example when you sabatoge a Rally Point with an AP mine. We can call agree that is toxic AF, but otherwise AP mines are what they are, area denial.

Maybe there should be a minimun distance between AP mines required to place them like 3 meters between. They could also have a limit of how many one player can set, maybe 4 or 5 max.

I wouldnt want to limit it too much because I think theres not enough engement area development in the game to begin with. The best thing people do is fill up a room with barbed wire and tank traps which is petarded and its a nightmare for both teams. Instead of actually blocking tank routes or infantry aproaches. But this is all due to lack of incentives.

Who are you? Did you forget to switch between your alts?

Don’t worry nobodies perfect

If I am not mistaken, “nobodies perfect” is incorrect.

another mine spam cry, no, mines aren’t op, I will explain it to you in a way that you understand: it is not the same as phosphorus grenades, impact grenades or rifles with grenades, mines require time to be placed, changing from soldier to soldier, it is not the same For example, the cyclical rocket spam of the Americans, which with 10.12 you can wipe out entire squads, the mines can also be destroyed with a shot or if you throw a grenade you can wipe out an entire sector, it also adds the speed of the gameplay that does not It will allow you to place too many, this is why I will die on this hill defending that the mines do NOT deserve a nerf, but they do deserve mechanics to counteract them, as I once suggested a device to detect them, other players have suggested that it be an engineer perk (although perhaps an AT soldier could too), that is why with all this text I will repeat myself once again: they are not too OP nor are they as spammable as they want to make it seem…

you can’t read, but I can show, mines can be “hidden” due exploits of the game, however, as you can see they are very visible in most of situations, specially japan one, and I only show AP, sorry but I THINK you can still deal with them using a grenade or shooting them from distance
