I unironically love playing this single-player Call of Duty: World at War-ish game on the winning sides and clapping bots/console players to relax. Furthermore, I do like to choose where I play: sometimes it’s fun to clap some bots in Moscow, and sometimes I feel like gaming in Berlin. Having little to no control over what maps you’ll play will ruin the vibe of the game. I don’t like what any of the tests looked like one bit and I think the way they’re going about the merge will revive the game short term but kill it long term, mark my words. Anyway, I’ll see yall in high-tier axis teams after the update drops to dunk on the allies.
P.S. Repair costs and other fun economy bleed mechanics WHEN??
They don’t even know what they are doing with the BR system like some guns didn’t deserve an extremely high BR like PPD-40 and PPSh sharing same BR as assault rifles.
Imagine removing one of the main selling points of this game and turn it into another generic arcade military shooter besides copying War Thunder’s system despite existing alternatives.
If Darkflow knows what they are doing, it will not come up to this but its clearly looking like they don’t know what they are doing and they already lost their way on the game resorting to lazy, halfassed methods to keep the playerbase somewhat engaged on paper but a double edged sword in reality.
I’m grinding now Moscow Axis, finished with Moscow Allies and all that work going to be waste of time since i won’t be able to play those high lvl unlocks on Moscow maps. BR segregation though maps is a horrible and pretty lazy idea.
Im pretty sure the devs had in mind that the Germans had air superiority in 1945 and everyone equiped with FG42-IIs and Tiger 2s in Berlin.
Thats how it really was in Berlin 1945 snd Steiner was Volksheld.
A pity we still lost somehow, probably because the Allies kept ramming our tanks in greyzones.
