In the sense that all tanks that were historically part of the campaign should be added regardless of tank on tank balance, as there are more ways to fight tanks than just another tank in this game. Especially since the faction that’d going to have the tank disadvantage -germany- specifically developed other means to combat tanks than their own tanks.
Tanks IRL were much more fragile than tanks in-game, keep in mind.
So long as tank damage remains as-is, I don’t think heavier tanks should be added to Moscow.
But by making it easier to throw tracks, adding suspension damage, and making molotovs do worthwhile damage, it should allow for stronger tanks.
Yeah, that’s my issue. Tanks are not yet weak enough. Though the limited FOV they currently have is something i truly adore, and a step in the right direction. What they should do is make it so grenade markers are invisible from inside a tank, unless the grenade is right in front of a view port you’re currently looking through.
Look I got a legit solution to end all of this. Russia gets a t-34 and germans get a Pz-3L. This tank had about 80mm of armor protection and short 50 was replaced by a long 50. This gun had more penetration than Soviet 76 but smaller HE shells against infantry. In fact, Pz-3L is quite similar to t-34: good hull armor but bad turret armor, good mobility, and good gun
Read my last message, it could hopefully solve this
I could agree to a Pz3L.
I just wonder what would end up with all other possible tanks, as I don’t see any other tank being viable at that point.
In a game where infantry exists, all tanks are viable. Unless they are slower than infantry and can be penetrated by SMG rounds.
M1A confirmed
You’ll have to be more specific. I can only find a rifle and an Abrams, but I’m certain you mean some kind of tank^^
M3 confirmed
That’d be pretty cool actually, at least if the Bots can use all the tanks guns. Imagine barging into a group of enemy soldiers with that one, Machine guns firing everywhere. Man, now I want to main soviet tanks in a T28.
Or did you mean the M3 Stuart ? There are more than just one M3.
The M3 was in the first test, and the M3 has been all but confirmed but I haven’t seen or heard anything about the M3 or the M3.
Oh no.
I got another solution: t-34/ KV-1 and panzer 3L could only be spawned once per every match. Tanks like BT, t-26, pz-3E, Pz-2 are available in unlimited numbers. Tanks like t-28, pz-3F, Pz-4C can be spawned 2-3 times per match
If the community asks for more tank variety the T-35 might be the ideal solution. Only one may be spawn per match (because only one T-35 has been used in the battle of Moscow); one the other side, Darkflow should give the German a Panzer III with a short 5cm gun and/or Panzer IVs (short 7,5cm) with APCBC and HEAT.
Well then the tankers need to be able to bring more than one tank into a match as most players will be using those powerful tanks, and if they die they can’t spawn in tanks at all. And yes, if. Not when.
I thought about making an in-game system that will let you choose your available tank when spawning instead of choosing it in the menu
yeah thats a nice nice idea no. of tanks you have you are allowed to bring out but if same type tank is present you can’t bring them out unless it dies or you can bring out a low tier tank…
specifically allow only to bring 5 tanks of your choice but if a heavy tank is out you can’t spawn another heavy one
Exactly, I’m glad we came to a conclusion (finally after 119 comments)
