are you doing it with minimal fuel or maximum fuel? though i am being being a tad bit hyperbolic with the 90% thing
The Western Allies can get the Gloster Meteor
No - because you can take the area of Wyoming to turn - crank it over and try to tight dogfight in it and youâll see.
I want the 262âs rocket pods to be added. Allegedly some German units salvaged them from damaged aircraft and use them as improvised artillery.
watch any war thunder video on the me262, it turns a little wide, but it doesnât lose an important amount of speed
Fuel is automatically maximum, but with a jet update choosing how much fuel you bring could also be added
Or the Airacomet as it was in service but not put into service because it wasnât any faster then the piston planes.
you guys do know that DF doesnt give F about plane realism right? they will just type in any number for best turn time and call it a day.
I always thought the Mustang was one of the best planes of WW2, but apparently I canât outrun anyone and I canât out turn anyone in it. Well, except for maybe the Ju-188. .
I also thought that the F-4U Corsairâs 20mm cannons would turn Japanese planes into metal shreds from one queue
but no - it feels like youâre shooting dirty socks
Because the P-51 Mustang is a long range high altitude fighter aircraft. However neither range or altitude has any effect on aircraft in this game so the biggest advantages of P-51 are lost.
BUT we could have the much faster P-51 H on BR5 which saw very little service before the war´s end. Still I doubt it would do as well as P-47 or bf-109 K-4 that are multi-role.
Iâm interested in your opinion, what do you say about the next fakes Enlisted about Japan axes vs USA
1 to 7 wins F4 corsair vs japanese Ki-84
and another lie Enlisted and the exaltation of the Axis forces
pathetic miserable game deliberately lying belittling the winners and extolling the losers
Skill matter more than the machine in WW2 dog fights.
New Axis pilots by the end of the war didnt have fuel to train so they did terribly, if you compared seasoned veterans to each other you would get much different results.
But anyway its not bias at all, the game design sucks since maps are too small and aircraft are forced to fly in low altitudes so the most important aircraft characterstic is turn time which was historically one the main strength of Japanese fighter planes.
If flying didnt suck so bad and speed, climb, rolling ect⌠mattered than turn time could be countered but I simply doubt that Darkflow is willing or can do anything about this.
you are probably trolled by the ammo belt, which usually contains more than one type of shell so its âmulti-purposeâ which is a joke since you will probably end up hitting an enemy aircraft with AP-T (more suitable for lightly or unarmoured vehicle strafing) instead of HEF-I that could do some decent damage to enemy aircraft.
Do you know the tape stuffing to make a claim?
Types belts from WT
and once again itâs not in the developerâs karma
I love how people hate on me for suggesting Korean War as a future update (since 95% of the weapons used were from WWII anyway), yet are fine with jets being added.
Zero logic.
Indeed personally I argued that a hypothetical Enlisted Korean War campaign should focus on the early war with Corsairs and RAAF Mustangs.
Prop planes make more sense for enlisted, they were used for ground strafing and bombing which is what planes are for in Enlisted.
Jets in the game would be silly since theyd just be doing their own thing and impossible to shoot down.
funnily enough the type of experience would matter too since an axis pilot farming off slav planes were frequently bested if they were sent to fight the western allies who were trained by their aces
Yeah I can confirm this too.
Hungarian pilots mostly fought against Soviets until mid 1944. They had a small but very well trained air force thus had high win ratio, however encountering American bomber squadrons escourted by P-51 mustangs came a huge shock in which the Royal Hungarian Air Force suffered high losses initially.
They had to adopt, formed the 101st airgroup from the best pilots and aces with best aircraft available, new tactics were adopted which put Hungarians on equal footing.
Maybe because those jets in question where used in WW2 ? Mainly on the german side as allied forced did not really have the wunderwaffe mindset of the germans but still they had a small number of them.
Adding the korean war would only justify post war stuff never used in WW 2 to be added for the US and the US alone as they are the only current faction that paticipated in it. Giving them an edge over every other faction worth 8 years of development (and prototypes).
Given how the german arms industry stopped to exist in 1945 for a long time there is no way you could expand the scope of of weapons much past that in a fair manner unless you jump strait to the cold war.
noâŚrussia was also there as combat pilots and i want to say some ground forces. also russian equipment was used in korea such as T-34, SKS and most importantly the MiG-15
