I just tried, the premium M38 parasquad which is BR 1 gets MG 34 BR 3 from the box.
My italian BR 2 paras (BR 2) get ZB-26 (BR 2).
So one can basically sneak BR 3 stuff into BR 1-2 battles.
Perhaps something similar happens with a Thompson.

Yes, that’s why I said it’s very good point. I just don’t think that’s case here.
But I’ll give him benefit of doubt. Few days back I played BR1 Germany and I am 100% sure I encountered Churchill (BR3 tank).
Which shouldn’t be possible. And everything else in that much seemed like BR1-2 stuff. So I really haven’t paid much attention to it.

I admit I suck right now because Enlisted isn’t the typical FPS and I just started. I want to play Warthunder’s Tank Realisim Battles and I suck ass in those because I still have to learn to range without a crosshair. I can admit my faults, but I will 100% call out BS when I see it. The matchmaking needs to be fixed.

When you play as Allies and get killed by a Thompson then it can be the BR2 Thompson the Japanese get right now in the event.
It was when I was trying the Germans.
There is a BR2 Premium Squad with Thompsons.
Also the MM can get pretty wonky when not many people play the BR Range you are.
I also had BR5 matches against Japan with BR3 Allies.

do you have name of the player in churchill? cause bots can now drive tanks and they were known to use BR3 equipment in BR1 match.

Could this Churchill have been a bot tank ?
Bots in low BR are known to use BR3 premium infantry squads. Maybe they can also spawn BR3 premium tank.

Also, as for the Thompson, the Japanese just got a BR2 event Thompson with 20 rounds.
well this is interesting. it is console player, so it isnt bot.

Well there already is a 2 month old bug report on this, so nothing new here I guess
Well, he played only premium squads.
Sten Mk III (BR1), Winchester G30M (BR2), Turner SMLE (BR3), Churchill (BR3).
I am pretty sure I had BR1 lineup without anything BR2. And kill feed seemed like BR1/BR2 queue.
He built a rally point on open (quite bot behavior)
But even picked weapon off the ground. So I doubt he’s bot.

checked replay and my working theory right now is that premium squads are not taken into account when checking for BR.
considering number of premium squads you have, you are ideal to test this theory out
