most of those games allow full team stack against other solo or stacked players. but they have SBMM that matches opponents with highest level player in the stack. translated to enlisted if one player in stack is marshal, but every other player is private, it will match against team full of marshals. also your teamplay is not crippled with lack of voice chat.

Enlisted simply isn’t nowhere near comparable to big AAA fps games. Especially with it’s unique faction specific MM. (Teams just aren’t made of random players and factions, but factions truly matters in enlisted)

There’s no reason why there wouldn’t be any stack vs stack preference as well. Especially since those preferences really doesn’t matter much.
Yes against solos, it’s not uncommon. Play Rust if you think Enlisted is unfair.
I love solo RPGs as well, however Enlisted is not one of them. The games that are meant to be team based games should continue to be TEAM BASED games.
I can play Enlisted with my friends, I cannot however play Ghost of Tsushima, or Skyrim, or whatever with them. Just because you don’t like people having friends doesn’t mean this game should stop being a team game. If we did it turns into games like COD, Siege, and whatnot that cater to solo players.

If we added in game chat we could actually counter the stacks better. Then randoms can coordinate better. Also SBMM is shit in those games. I remember playing 3 matches in a row (after losing games non-stop) with a predator in my lobby in public Apex matchmaking. Predators are the top 750 players in the game… tf?

Siege I often play against a dude with 13 kills at the end of the game and 2 deaths.
All of these are examples of my experiences in Ranked and Unranked SBMM. It doesn’t work. Whether I was solo or in a squad I can find thess players in my lobbies.
I’m unsure why you mention SBMM or VC because neither of those deny the fact that a team-based game is allowing you to have a full team. That’s exactly what I was trying to point out to Adam.

Btw. If enlisted was a stack based game (since I guess that’s what you mean by team based game).
The basic component would be that players would form 4 stacks and solo players would be randomly redistributed to those stacks (Literally just like in BF)
But that’s simple not the case. Stacks are minority in enlisted. And I have no clue why should majority suffer toxic game environment because of minority.

smurfing also exists. i will not comment on effectiveness of their SBMM, just to the fact that it exists in majority of those games. my primary experience was in csgo where SBMM actually works.

I never did play a lot of CSGO, never liked the style of the game.
neither have I…always BR 3s vs BR 1s…heck Ive even had tigers in moscow (which is supposed to be impossible)

Neither, enlisted is casual ww2 fps sand box.
And toxic 4 stacks who pretends to need teamwork and “skill” to deal with casuals, bots and solo players are causing only extremely toxic matches for anyone involved except them, nothing else.
This game isn’t only about 4 players, it’s about all 20 players participating in match.
But I guess that’s too hard to understand, lol.
