i think marshall ranks should be way harder to get even there would be 500 star i think it’s too easy. it would be nice to see fewer marshall ranks so it would be more realistic irl there is no so many marshalls so why it’s so easy to get i think it should be way harder with way better rewards than just useless portaint for 120days.
no until awards stop beeing useless shit
yes like i sayed it should be harder and better rewards who cares some useless portaint that you dont even get fully owned it’s bullshit reward the reward from 1st marshall gave us atleast a premium soldier lol.
Be carefull. Dont tempt Devs. They will make it harder to achive and left old rewards xd.
But seriously whole cocnept need to be rewrite. Number of points and rewards wont do for me.
totally agree that star system is bad you get them too easy and would be more realistic if like 0.1-1% only would achieve that rank for example
If marshal rank give other things than an useless avatar for 120d … and myabe more gold order yes for 500 np im allready at 500 XD
A F-ton of players quiet any match they think there going to lose, and this is in part why so many attain Marshals rank fast.
Any meaningful change to rank progression should start with this I think.
You Leave you lose a point… Same as if you lose.
Allready the case
Is it?, I never quiet, so I thought it was still that way…
What the purpose to fight 1v10 with a bunch of bots or bots belike (low IQ) none except lose his time => quit
Honestly I think they are working on a better system overall. The fact they made it more difficult means they realize the issues. It’s just not something they can change entirely in one go without testing things first.
What are you losing exactly, you still get to kill?
Uh I thought you lose points if you quit. I know I lost 1 or 2 if I left a match early
Bigger grind —> Better rewards
That’s all I’m going to say as I already agree with most of your POVs.
The rank should be challenging, not tedious, they made it more tedious, which doesn’t even solve the same problem of bad players being able to get it if they just play enough.
Why should we have to slave away on the game in order to reach these levels? People have jobs and other games to play (Harry Potter game is the new big one). They already increased the level required, and they already shortened the time required in order to get them. We do not need to increase it further.
Why would this arbitrary system need to be realistic? It would also be realistic not to be stripped of the marshall rank and be put back to second lieutenant.
No, the rank system does need to be redone, but not in this simple way, the way it is calculated now only proves that someone plays a lot or only op camps, not that a marshal plays well enough. I played and only played USMC every day this season, and now I just became a Lieutenant General. I have no doubt that as long as I start out with a group playing Normandy German Army then I can become a marshal in a week’s time
Yeah exactly, they are stuck until the end of the season to make changes to the ranked system once all the data comes in.
Yeah I agree, it should be tied to in-game medals so those contributing are ranking up. Winning should be an added bonus to the rank, so no matter if you’re winning or losing you still are gaining something
I thought about it further after reading your comment. Something that occurred to me is that:
This has some potential in it IF more points were gained from Battle Hero rewards. In addition, the penalty for QUITTING a game should be increased to 2.
Here is the breakdown:
- Winning gives +1
- EACH “medal” obtained (Best flamethrower, tanker, infantry squad, etc.) is +1
- Being in the top 4 of the team gives +1
Meanwhile - Losing takes -1
- Quitting takes -2
- Being in the bottom 4 of your team is -1
This system would ensure that players that fight like crazy are rewarded with ranking for their efforts, even being able to recoup losses in a single good game. Meanwhile, players that just outright quit a game leaving their team stranded get heavily penalized, rather than the current system where they lose only as much as if they had just lost the game.
Even if players lose, but fought like crazy, they will at least break even, and if their efforts lead to the victory, they are rewarded further. The grind would be LESSENED for good players, and would be quite rough for those just casually quitting out of games repeatedly.
