Making Enlisted a Better Place №19

Each update of “Making Enlisted a Better Place” focuses on a certain aspect of the game or a particular mechanic in which we’ve fixed bugs or have added interesting features.

The improvements are mostly or even completely based on the feedback you have left in the special topics and discussions on our forums and social media platforms.

MAKING FORTIFICATIONS STRONGER

Enlisted has many destructible fortifications, each one requires a different amount of damage to destroy, from a few bullets to a powerful explosion. Now one of the most important constructions is getting stronger.

Sandbags have become stronger: both as engineer-constructed fortifications (including even machine gun points) and all objects made of this material placed on the locations.

More than one and a half times stronger! This will allow the bags to receive more explosions and not shatter immediately from the same blast pack that fell some distance away. Take cover, and when the enemy runs out of ammo, tell them hello from us as well.

INCREASING SABER RANGE

We’ve increased the damage range of sabers and cavalry swords. You might get these collectible weapons in several past promotions (and you can definitely get more). Their swing is now capable of hitting your enemies at a greater distance, and your blows will send more enemies to Valhalla!

In fact, this improvement will be beneficial for everyone, even those who don’t own collectible blades. We’ll tell you why very soon.

FULL LIST OF CHANGES

  • Increased the strength of “sandbag” forts by 70%.
  • Range of collectible sabers and cavalry swords was increased by 11%.
  • Slight approximation on aiming for stationary machine guns and Ampulomet was returned.
  • Increased accuracy of De Lisle Commando carbine.

Atleast mounted mgs have their zoom back.

Something that shouldn’t be removed at all to begin with.

As for the rest… Meh imo, but will be appreciated for players that bayonet left and right.

Previously, the mod editor generated machine gun sandbag seemed to be indestructible. Has this bug been fixed? Please answer, thanks Keo!

Hi Keofox, this is good news, back in CBT you had more building options and could stack sandbags together and make temporary pill box with rifle slot, any chance you could readd that back in game? Add in any other building options too, as I think the people who block entrances can now be overcome with Detpacks, explosive spam.

No, regarding tnt part of you answer.

A explosion pack or two, should be the enough to destroy fortifications. Makes no sence to dismantle and take 3 h doing so.

Specially at current game pace.

The problem is that if you throw a grenade or something directly on the sandbag, the sandbag will disintegrate automatically.

It’s “zoom”, not “approximation”. That’s why you need a human professional to translate the articles. Not Google Translate, not an intern, and not some outrsourced faceless nobody who doesn’t give a damn.

The translation from Russian to English is often so direct and bad that you can’t help but wonder if they ever actually proof read anything.

I challenge any English speaker to explain what “in a spike” means.

It’s probably supposed to say something like “in a pinch” but I get what you’re saying and completely agree. Hell they can’t even say sight correctly.
