How many soldiers do you see get up from a headshot? How many soldiers do you see get up from a heart shot? How many soldiers do you see get up after having their spines blown out?
If you won’t reward people for lining up their guns with the target they aim at (dispersion), at least reward them for being smart.
Pretty sure head shot is instant kill already.

well, actually the game have a damage multiplier by body section (but it can be better like ro2)

Interesting, I didn’t know the neck gave a bigger % than the head… Probably to emulate what @SheepleRnutz showed up there (helmet protection.)
although… Even a simple revolver round is enough to one shot kill a guy when aiming the head. Just tested it with the beautiful Pacific S&W, went on a mad spree (had to complete my dailies)
That’s right, the maximum amount HP its arround 15, 15.1 , so, probably your enemy can had 12 or 13 hp
(with chance of being downed but not dead)10 damage is how much you need to kill someone | 13.5 damage to kill someone with vitality | 15.1 to kill a flametrooper II with vitality.
(whitout chance for downed) 20 damage, 27 damage to kill someone with vitality, 30.2 to kill a flametrooper II with vitality
sounds about right, 6 * 2.3 gives 13.8 damage, roughly. forgot the real amount of the .45 round, it’s 6 something. they must not have had the vitality perk on.
Even if they did thought, it’s probably enough to get wounded down

what I would like to see is the delicious system of broken legs and minor and mortal wounds of Ro2
those 8 to 10 seconds of last stand while bleeding out, where your vision blurs, grows darker and sounds slowly muffled…
I swear, RO1 & RO2 gave me ptsd after some matches. Was genuinely afraid to get shot, and was sometimes stunned when looking at my buddies who exploded 5m from me, while I was lucky being behind something. Never got that feeling of pure dread in any other war game…
I am missing RO2.
Only crap pistols shots make headshots survivable in enlisted.
Not just headshot, but also getting shot in the heart should be instant, unless we get
RO2 was crazy and I loved it.
We have different damage multipliers that moderator showed you, plus BA rn is usually one shot every soldier, i don’t see why we need implement such complex mechanic. Right now we have a good one that is working properly
Actually, something that I’ve noticed, tested, and thought I should share:
It depends on where you hit the enemy and if they have a helmet on or not.
Shots to the face or if they are just wearing a hat will kill (unless its a small caliber bullet like pistol or smg, in which case its 2).
If they have a helmet on, and you hit that helmet, its a little bit of a damage reduction. So if you hit them with a semi-auto for example, it won’t one shot kill.
I like the idea of it making vital organs have different effects for example maybe:
If one of you legs get hit you can’t sprint
If your stomach gets hit or your lungs you get reduced stamina
If an arm gets hit you weapon sway increases
If your heart gets hit you bleed out and quickly lose heath and die
Along with this depending on the angle you get hit you can get more than one of these effects based on bullet trajectory
All of these effects will be removed when you get hit
This will make the hp system more in-depth without making it Tarkov difficult
See what happens at 5:22 and forward when actual AR rounds and Rifle rounds are shot. Notice how the bullet goes straight through the helmet like Swiss cheese.
Interesting, let’s see what happens when this ballistic dummy is shot with .30 06 (the same caliber as the M1 Garand and 1903 Springfield rifle).
