Make RMN 50 usable by guerillas

why?

well ugh…

the description says that " favorite among guerillas "

yet…

they cant use it:

i feel like it would be a good weapon for them to use as well.

it’s not like they can access or have 9 grenade launchers…

but it’s not the end of the day.

( totally not because i accidentally bought it by just checking the description and not actually checking if they could use it in the first place )

No, it would be incredibly toxic gameplay wise.

Literally guys with big ammo bag smgs and GL in their pocket… That’s hellish.

But this argument is very legit on other hand.

well, i bought it for larping reasons.

but, i can see how 4 of these could be annoying to deal with.

at the same time, not sure how different it is from 9 soldiers with GLs noob tubes.

so… eh…

i ain’t gonna cry over it, but at the same time, i guess asking for consistency was my first mistake.
or… second.

since i bought and assumed it would be used by them :upside_down_face:

Classic rifle GLs are limited to only 3 grenades.

RMN (if put at first spot) can get bonus to ammo reserve equivalent to big ammo bag. (And its grenades can be refilled via ammo boxes, unlike normal rifle GLs).
And it can be combined with weapon like PPSH-41 box (since guerrillas do have 2 weapon slots)

well yes.
to which, many threads were made about it.

but… this topic is primarily about the RMN 50 though

( maybe it will get the same treatment like the vg 1-5. to which, was moved to rifleman years layer. still that one has to go ( or rather, should go ) to guerillas as well. but, another topic for another time )

RNM50 is prob the strongest GO weapon ingame, routinely get 30-50 kills with it per match (pic from when RNM kills were still counted as grenade kills - this is all RNM work here)

It would be ultra toxic, 12 x 50mm mortar rounds PER guerilla is insane. Insta 7/5 stars squad.

All that plus its NOT a rifle grenade aka ~30mm HE round. Its a 50mm Mortar, WAY bigger splash damage, 14m vs 10m (+40%)

them rmn50 is historically first and foremost known as a partisan weapon. its already nerfed by being BR3, whereas it would make more sense to have it on BR2 so its a special weapon there (power level is strong but fine), whereas its just a stronger but slower GL on BR3. lowering it to BR2 makes sense. but even if its not lowered, giving it to partisans on BR3 is very much needed, as partisans are strong/good on low BR but fall of hard at BR3 and become unplayable on high BRs.

As a soviet main, who 90% of the time uses the RNM50 in a match. Keep it away from Guerillas.

Ill make German mains uninstall the game. You would have no chance. Its a 1 click delete squad button on 4 second reload.

But I agree that this thing is indeed a bit powerful if it has not only double the ammunition but also a submachine gun for self-defense in a level 3 environment.

Yeah I dont know about that at all. Im a complete pro with the RNM50, take out HMB nests with 1st round often at 150m.

14m splash radius is very lethal, I mostly delete anything in front of me until I run out of ammo, marshal or not.

Again, its NOT a grenade launcher , its a HAND MORTAR. Actually a Huge difference.

I also like using the grenade launcher
I have used it many times to destroy trucks, open-air tanks, and bunkers hiding people from a distance of 100 meters.
But I don’t think he’s invincible

Irrelevant, as mentioned it fires a 50mm mortar shell. That does +40% more splash damage vs every other rifle grenade, and carries 2-3x the number of grenades when equipped correctly.

On avg its 3-4x better than every other rifle grenade ingame.
