Make Ai shoot rallies that are 10/15 meters away from them

Agreed, especially when they build them in a small room and sand bag the door to make it hard to get out.

No, it more affective that we can place AP mine on rally then destroy them

it would be more effective if you and the other chaps would start to actually learn how to read.

i’m being honest here.

i don’t care what you guys do WITH YOUR OWN AI.

i’m talking about THE AI COMMANDED SQUADS / COMMANDERS.

they can destroy tanks on their own, place rallies, place medkits and ammo boxes ( and i bet half of you don’t even know it ) yet it becomes a fuzz when they should destroy the fuking rallies that they step on?

legit, in some occasions, they even build rallies next to the enemy ones.

is that really hard to understand?

i guess so

Let me phrase it differently.
Mining and shooting a rally require about the same effort (you can shoot from a distance but most rallies are behind some cover). But mining gets you higher reward. So risk/reward is screwd torwards mining.

I didn’t know you were forbidden from shooting.
I always thought 0.5s time it takes to plant a mine is a negligible time but apparently it makes you vulnerable for long enough to be an issue.

Yes, and I think mining rallies is too efficient. It doesn’t require any additional effort than other destruction methods but yelds much higher reward. Even shooting it (and a s fresh squad) with a grenade launcher requires more effort for the same result.
And balancing is supposed to adres such issues: things being too efficient or not enough efficient.

Also it has a downside of being annoying on the receiving end, especially for f2p players who potentially can’t spawn another specialist squad if they happen to lose one. Imagine you want to build AT gun to destroy a tank. Tough luck, you’ve spawned on a mine. Now cycle through 2 other squads before you can use engineers again. Truly a pleasure.

It’s only low effort if the rally was in a very obvious and undefended position.

It’s all but low effort when in order to place that mine I first need to fight my way to that house where enemy soldiers keep coming from, dealing with multiple squads spawning in the meantime, and possibly blowing up myself on a pair of defensive mines while I look for the rally inside.

find it funny how people complains about ap mines or placement of a rally,

yet no one is addressing the main argument of the topic.
aka AIs doing fuck all next to a rally:

pinnacle of the enlisted community right there.

cant’ say i’m angry, just disappointed.

To destroy a rally with a rifle you need to do exactly the same. So why should you be rewarded with extra exp/kills for the same job + being annoying?

Well, your initial wording didn’t make that obvious at all.

the picture sure did

nah I think instead ai should pin the spawn when they spot them. And left the decision to the player(yea I mean for player to plant mine on it)

Well she is asking to let player Less (full AI squad) AI attack rally at X distance from them, people who come talking how they use their AI bot for X and how mine a rally, are actually off topic imo

I won’t lie, I feel responsible.

nah

you didn’t come up with shitty *** exscuse or actively trying to dumb down the AI,

so you’re more than welcome.

Still, I could just keep my mouth shut as it’s not the place for such discusions.
But it’s hard for me to resist arguing :stuck_out_tongue:

We can see that’s not a bot of yours, but how can we know that’s a full bot squad?

Anyway in that cas YES, I AGREE that FULL AI squads SHOULDN’T ignore enemy rally points, just like a player squad wouldn’t.

The main treats are the XP, the free kills, and draining enemy tickets.

Being annoying is just an extra.

Seriously, this issue (if ever any) is grossly overinflated.

Not like one can blow up a rally more than once.

I step (or spawn) on mines myself everyday. It’s not a big deal at all.

Maybe it is overinflated.
But still, math doesn’t add up. Mining is too beneficial in comparison to all other methods.

Also I can always ask: if it’s not an issue, why do you resist?
It’s not a big deal when it happens. So when it’s gone it’s not a big deal either, is it?

(Damn, I was supposed to shut up and not derail :no_mouth: )

Make i possible to counter and I won’t argue any more.
(But save it for another time.)

mine your rally :stuck_out_tongue: works often.
