Make Ai shoot rallies that are 10/15 meters away from them

it’s not fun at this point…
they just keep walking next to them, and do nothing about it.

yes, i could shoot them, but that’s not the point.
AI should be able do that too.
especially the wanderless ones ( aka, AI commanders that replaces players ).

they can destroy tanks on their own, place rallies, place medkits and ammo boxes but for some reason, they cannot destroy a rally that they are next to it.

my own modded missions gets sabotaged too because AI don’t shoot rallies.

so you are attacking / defending a point, and yet you find opponents at your back because AI keeps walking among rallies but don’t do jack all about them.

Ennemy humans can heard the bipbip but can’t see it.

And u want that : bots with xray vision can shoot it ?

i couldn’t care less where X or Y put them.

literally you can work around with relatively 0 effort.

Ai should shoot those independently if a tiny portion of players will be affected.

But atm it’s very good position. Especially some crop/flower field in Tunisia and Normandy works just beautiful.

And it’s true, your suggestion, Erika, would ruin this tactic. And that would be really shame.

if your whole place gets suddendly shoot off by AI walking to it,

ditches, trees etc?

just don’t place it where AI pass.

it’s literally that simple.

just because players aren’t that smart in figuring it out there’s a rally over the wheet fields, we shouldn’t dumb down the AI because of it.

Okay, but you’d completely block of one flank. Because for some reason, most fields are impossible to shovel. And the sandbags you use to cover the rally points from the random shots etc. are taller than the flowers/crops at some fields.

No, it would ruin my favorite tactic (= no improvement for me personally, especially since I don’t rely on baby bots destroying rally points. I couldn’t care less about feature like this one) . But I think we already had this discussion. So it’s pointless to start it over again.

How about the AI doesn’t shoot through bushes? I’m no expert but I’m certain the AI could be better or differently coded.

If AI destroyed enemy rallies, rallies could get AP mined less often, but AI aren’t particularly smart.
If AI only shoots rallies that are plain in sight that might not hurt much, but if they were to actively look for them than they would just get themselves killed.

idk what y’all makes you think that AI will all of a sudden hunt rallies.
they can barely reach an objective without getting killed.
let alone trying to find a rally.

just as the title, make ai shoot rallies that are 10/15 meters away from them.
just like any frikkin soldier.

if it’s visible, he must shoot them ( and he must shoot the rally )
if it’s in a building, ditch, or wherever the fuck it can be, then the AI simply won’t be able to shoot it.
or chase it.

Agree also AI should actively dismantle enemy structures if not in combat

yep another major basic function that AI needs.

otherwise you can just use barbwire and they will actively do nothing until they spam artillery and pass through ( not always, because what they sort of do, is relaying on the arty to open a path for them ).
