you want the full history of my favorite spg of WWII you can go read the wiki yourselves.

They add this they have to add the Sturmpanzer 2

er bison has a 6 inch not a 105 so wespe would be more fitting,

Wait for the Day StuH 42, Bison(Sturmpanzer II), StuG 33, Brummbar and Sturmtiger arrive…

Things to look forward to! But who knows how effective this thing will be in the game? Barely anyone marks a thing, lol. So, you’d probably be firing wildly and hoping to hit something. But I endorse this 100%, and for personal reasons.

You think too small Sturmtiger.

I ofc would like an INDIRECT FIRE new mechanic in Enlisted (not like the axis and Sov rocket plaforms in game that somehow need direct view)

But. Why stop with a m7, when we could get a m12??? (Go big or go home!)

(to calm a bit my itch about not having ISU152, or KV2 in game)

Would be just as boring as mortars are. You would be most likely just blocking slots for proper tanks.

I’ve never thought I’d rather have a camper with mortar in my team than an active player who actually has bodies on objective.

I wouldn’t want to deal with even more campers. So one big NO

kv 2 and isu 152 also

I’m going to disagree here mortar squad players are about as useful as snipers and it makes no difference what kind of vehicle you bring if it has a gun its useful to the “indirect fire mechanic” that would be no from me to that wouldn’t be as fun a rolling up on Adamnpee and blasting his face off point blank with a 105mm or a 155mm spg

Then there’s just no point adding those at all, is there. Like you said they’d probably lock a tank slot, trying to act like tanks but being worse than them and even tank destroyers in all aspects.

I do agree with that as well. M7 is just gutted m3 lee.
You will lose armor and majority of armaments just to get 105 gun. Which just isn’t worth it, m3 lee is very good tank for its BR.

But it all depends on personal preference. I personally fo not eant more indirect weapons or so.
You could easily just imagine M7 is your artillery support while playing radioman.

I feel like those are just a big step ahead of it though, they have pretty good Armour(they are a closed, unlike the Sturmpanzer 2) and the cannons are considerably larger than that of the the Sturmpanzers, so having them at the same BR wouldn’t work very well. Something that could go against it is the jagdtiger or possibly Sturmtiger if you want to get stupid, they have decent Armour for being tiger variants and the guns have very high damage, but have a long reload. They also have limited gun traverse and are slow.these tanks have become quite iconic in the ww2 gaming community and especially in this forum and would be nice to see them in the base game. And a low teir soviet equivalent would be the ZIS 30,which is also in the files.

There could be some twists and new mechanics with spa vehicles if they’re even added.

For one, for or against, they must shoot in parabolic indirect fire, or you’re better off with a good old classic td.
But, there must be some drawback to using something so powerful away from harm, or even I would be against it.
Could something like, vehicle is permanently marked for enemy team, or at least, marks itself everytime it fires.
Could be that each shot have some delay before firing, creating some sort of alarm for the enemy team, placing a red circle on minimap or what not…

I do not know what exactly. As long as well made and not useless, but also not invulnerable.

Its about fun but I guess we can do the some old same old I disagree with the m3 at rank 2 its barely more useful than an M5 its out classed by the panzer 4 long 75 wich should be rank 4 the crusader is better and I hate British tanks.

Zis 30 is more equivalent to semovente. It would be still nice to see aswell

Then make SPGs their own slot I still believe that TDs shouldn’t use a tank slot and should be their own vehicle slot they don’t serve the same purpose as Tanks and shouldn’t share their slots.

I believe indirect spg artillery would be extensively exploited by stacks to get very unfair domination (if marking and so would be needed as it is currently for mortars rn)
It would be extremely frustrating to face such enemy.

And in basically any other scenario, indirect spg would be just very underperforming vehicle or be used to just spam objective with nonstop explosions without any need for actual skill.

I fear this new vehicle type would be more harmful than anything else. I just dont see many positives.
