But, yeah. It’s a type of vehicle I’d see working, if battles were twice as big. 20vs20 min. When you need an edge to dislodge a very well entrenched and numerous enemy, such vehicles could be used (pretty much like in real life).
But as of now, I’m not certain either they should be implemented.
That is not really saying much when having a sniper squad makes you as effectively useless to your team as the grey zone camping tiger/jombo (I don’t choose favorites they are both equally scummy) and the jackass who can’t hit shit with a mortar.
That’s no true. German AR snipers can be used very effectively even when playing as aggressive attacker.
And Soviet semi snipers are on of the most underrated weapons in whole game. They’re all so good. And decent player can be very efficient with them while playing as defender.
Snipers definitely do not equal completely useless squad. It just depends if you’re sitting camper or not. It doesn’t depend on class.
Snipers and Tigers are a fair comparison as these guys see where they’re shooting. It’s a matter of skill from there if you wanna be useful.
The guy driving that M7 priest won’t. Vehicles already play very defensively, and when you’re given the option to shoot over cover via indirect fire, I think players will.
The second most sniper mains I’ve seen meet any resistance they default to sit in the back and not participate regardless what gun they are using. But this really isn’t a debate on snipers or indirect fire its suggestion for new vehicle I personally think the indirect fire thing wouldn’t work with as small as the maps are and artillery is annoying in general but its necessary.
