After trying it I have to say M2 Carbine is better. It’s more stable and just like FG 42, it can kill someone with two shots. So why are u keeping complaining about FG 42?

Its both guns. Both guns render all other rifles for everyone else obsolete. They need to be locked to gunners or assaulters and NOT the standard rifle slot

Or limited to a certain amount per squad. Even just 2 is potent.
No just two is just as normal as SMG.

maybe because the M2 never actually existed during normandy in the first place, and the other is technically rarer to be given to each soldier?
Also the FG42 is stronger at range as it’s a 7.92x57 full powered cartridge

this is a test of my trying the weapon for the first time.
it’s only semi automatic, but here is the result, ( it gets worse as my soldier has faster realod firearm perk)

FG II
weather it’s truee that this fg II it’s the one for the snipers, but yeah… it’s almost better than the M2.
i suspect that the FG 42 I it’s slighly worse about the fg42 II. but it’s not that worse than the m2.
I’m saying the M2 carbine is a better SMG which is what the OP is basically saying makes the M2 “better”. It isnt because they’re completely different weapons. M2 IS a better smg true but the FG42 is a better rifle outside of close combat
well, exept i don’t know how it works for hipfire ( speakng of the m2 )
but the fg has no issue what so ever.
considering that i can semi auto or simulate full auto with my mouse, hip fire is a beast.
Do you have a video of the full auto recoil of the FG 42?
Then maybe its better at everything lol minus 10 rounds in a magazine but the FG hits as hard as the semi auto G43
You should buy those for every one of your soldiers and just prove the point we are all making
i’m aware that those weapons are powerfull. and if you would pay attention enough, i already answered for that matter.
cool, I’d be interested to see what it’s like in full auto.
I have the M2 and the recoil is crazy. Muzzle rise is intense and you completely lose any sight picture that you had while you fight the recoil. It almost seems unrealistic as the entire gun appears to be flipping muzzle up, as if the butt of the rifle wasn’t actually seated in the shooter’s shoulder.

Pay attention? Uhh what did I miss? You currently have the sniper version and are going to get the standard One next which will be for everyone.
so yeah, i’m well aware of the m2 and fg being able to be used on everyone. just like i sugged in many other threads, the FG42 should only be locked for the mortar battalion. as they are the only paratrooper unit for the germans.

like, put it as an SMG so that people will only be able to use 2 fgs42 or 1 fg42 and 1 fg42 II.

Ahh from a different thread. I havent followed all of them. There have been many over the past few days about the FG42

and being able to give everyone fgs and m2. doesn’t sounds particulary fun nor interestring ( in terms of balance of course )
Once people start hitting level 23 we will see many more thread about it
