No thanks. Drums had been phased out by Tunisia, for both US and UK armies, and the M2 wasn’t even present as a conversion kit in any real numbers or use in Europe by VE-Day. It’s a bit nuts that it’s in Normandy, it has no place in Tunisia.

How do you even hold that thing? Your arm needs to be at a 90 degree angle just to reach the front grip… . I guess with 100 rounds you don’t have to worry about aiming it

Type C drums weren’t used neither by the US nor by Brits - it was way to heavy and bulky to carry around on the battlefield.
