This isnt the first time smgs have been the subject.
Prior to lmg nerf peoples reasoning was theres no need to nerf over twice better soviet smg’s as the germans have lmgs that works just fine at cqc.
Now germans doesnt, so theres absolutely 0 reasons why the soviets over twice better smgs should not be nerfed to get some balance.
Knive is also good but doesnt magically justify the fact that soviet smgs are over twice better than the german ones.
And with that logic there was no need for entire lmg nerf either as all guns are “really good”
nope there were still people calling for soviet smg nerfs since berlin’s release to CBT which was 2 months before the LMG nerfs
And what campaing are you refering? i assume moscow cause in berlin there isnt soviet smg thats twice as good as m38 or vg 1-5
Also mg34 is still good and best lmg in game.
Exept before nerf every smg was kinda obsolete cause lmg’s did everything better (cqb) while having superior range
or by your logic smg’s could be buffed to be better in every way, dealing more damage at longer ranges while being superior in cqb.

And where you got that info? according germans soviet smg’s laser beam accurate so why they need that starter rifle and not backpack? whole argument smells just assumption
edit: just tested couple matches. mg34 with patronetroll mag is still deadliest weapon in campaing

Yeah the only downside of the smg is the low dmg on long range, which you can relatively easily fix by using smg + rifle combo, which is pretty much a set that anyone with IQ over 2 would choose.
But you arguing against stats the numbers should be taken as a fact ? Really.
I’ve used LMG’s in CQC against entire bunched up squads, and they’re better now. The spread makes it where you aim in the middle of them, and start spraying. Within seconds you’ve wiped a squad.
They meant to nerf them, but they’ve accidentally buffed them in CQC 
True now on moscow the german player uses only lmg ist annoing and break the game wiew 6 player with normal and premiun mg squad the positive things if you play germans you win 8/10 (based on my victory with russia i lose 8 time in a row)
