The LTV was a more armored and amphibious transport, I would say that adding those features to it retroactively would make them more viable.

The LVT(A) 1 and Ka-Chi in game are just amphibious tank that was designed for supporting amphibious landing. They are not meant to be transport.

which you can only do because it holds 7, while the LVT is artificially limited to 4 of 6
Although if they were re-designated as APCs you could use them as mobile spawn points, which is what I think the premise of the argument is to begin with.

I mean, sure, but the Ka-chi isn’t an APC, and the tank variant (edit, of the LVT) wasn’t either. I’d be down for a tech tree LVT apc, but changing what we’ve got is a no go
Give us a tech tree LVT, and a tech tree M3 halftrack apc (without the MG, whatever)
They have up to 6 transport squads per country, but only two countries have two apc’s each. there’s plenty of options without changing what’s already here.=

Presumably because the machine gunners on the rear are out in the open and facing away from the enemy. They’d just get killed anyway.
You, however, are free to hop into someone else’s vacant gunner seats. At your own risk, of course.
I’m not fussed either way. The current APCs are paid for, so if I was looking to extend my dollar further, I’d tweak the existing premiums already in game and get more ppl to buy them.
What you’re asking for makes perfect sense, but it cost more development money to create, test and then insert into the tech trees.
Ultimately someone has to monetise this game, and as far as getting one’s bang for buck, upgrading these two to APCs doesn’t read as a bad option to me.

No, you are just trying to make people angry. I like current version of those tanks. I don’t want them to be APC. I literally bought them because they’re tanks, not because they could be APC one day.

I have both vehicles, I paid for them just as you are suggesting you have, and all I’m saying is that I don’t care either way.
IF I was Gaijin however, and I needed to throw some quick APC love to some of the other factions, then this is a viable way to do it. Nothing more, nothing less.

Then make new versions of those vehicles, do not change the current one.
You can literally use the same model, just call it Ka-chi (apc)

Look at the positive of this particular change.
There is no change to the vehicle characteristics as such, they still function exactly the same as they currently do, you get the added bonus of them being a spawn point, and as the ultimate bonus when they re-jig the crew into an APC squad as per the other countries, you get a truck full of random gear for free, which will probably add up to 50K worth of silver you don’t have to spend.
No, they do not. They would change class type of its crew members. You could no longer do meme assaulters.

If you want to change anything. Remove the old version from shop, and add new tweaked version. That’s the change I do respect.
Effectively both versions could coexist this way.
But since all we know they’re able to nerf shtt weapon like mkb35 while it was no longer even obtainable… Just don’t give them more shtty ideas.

Remember the great semi auto nerf, i bought like 20+ Italian guns, Amegeras something like that, and buckets loads of M1 carbines reduced to pee shooters, will never forgive all for that
