Lower Federov

Can we just classify this thing as an MG that thing is not a machine gun we literally have a premium squad with as an MG

At Tier 1-2 the Soviets literally have SMGs with higher rates of fire, I don’t see why people think it would be a problem if the Federov joins them in lower tier

The Thompson’s share a similar fate where the BR system lists them in reverse. The late mass production versions first, the early versions last

At this point we might as well just be using 90% WW1 weapons in WW2. Let’s storm the beaches of Normandy with the Farquhar Hill

normandy is high br and you can use farquhar in normandy already

So is the Farquhar lol

yes it is but enlisted is a game in the end

When you think about it Tier 1-2 things are very flexible because you have easy loopholes to bring them with you even into late game

No.

That option has passed. When ppl pushed to adopt battle rating on equipment: there’s no place for asymmetry with this system, it’s only reason of being is to try and achieve complete balance using numerical values matchmaking.

Which is why eventually, king tiger H will face 1960 tanks.

Me and a few others warned you guys about this system, what it would be like. Why didn’t you guys voice opposition with us when there was still time? The first mm model devs presented, would ironically have been better (after refinement) because things like Moscow Fedorov could have been, it would have given devs leeway into choosing map preferences for good equipment balance.

Now we got strict WT br, and devs are making the same mistakes like WT did, by putting things like pps43, at a lower br than it should, for example.

They can’t even do it properly :expressionless:

I feel like this is a more understandable way to go.

Because federov isnt a smg but a battlerifle with semi auto levels of damage giving them an insane amount of flexibility as a bottomless mag semi or a oneshot smg.

I was very apprehensive about the new system back then, I was mostly pro merge and anti BR. I will say that I have been having fun with the new system in general, but obviously I have my nitpicks and issues

For now all I hope is that we do not venture beyond WW2. Let’s exhaust every last drop of WW2 until there’s no more content whatsoever to add, then maybe we can think about going forward

Another question is if they are going to add a lot more extensive tools to create our ideal custom games. That’s what I really want to see

They could just give Germany the Gustloff Mkb 42G at Tier 1-2.

Another pretty promise they didn’t keep… like the free additional slot for premium squads… :unamused:

We don’t even have chat rooms in loby! How silly is this…

Neat concept! I think tier 3 would be more balanced, the Mkb 42 could also use this same treatment.

Asymmetrical gameplay doesn’t work when you can stack all the best things onto multiple squads.

If the federov was placed lower, you’d have people running 3+ assaulter squads, all equipped with federovs and all the other stuff that gives an advantage. They’d just be able to cycle them out, even if they use more federovs in a single match than were produced.

This is a problem with any tech-tree weapon people want to lower down in BR. Once you have the squads, you can stack them. This is a problem with any german assault rifle, the ppsh-41, SMG-34’s, fg-42’s, m2 carbines, on and on. You can’t lower them, because (regardless of when they were made, how many were made, or whatever) you’ll bring imbalance that far outstrips the fun to be had with ‘historical accuracy’.

Asymmetry relies on scarcity and there’s no scarcity in this game if you don’t want to deal with it.

make Federov BR 2…

yeah the biggest joke I have read the entire month.

This should be able to separate beginners from Federov spammers at the same time, giving weapons like the ppd’s and fedorov a chance to play on the maps they were originally usable on.

Isnt that just power creeping everything? Why run anything else? And if Fed should be BR 1 bacause it is old then why should a MKB be there too if perfomance does not matter and only age does? Why have a BR if BR 5 only Uses BR 1 stuff? What you request isnt just a downtiering of a weapon but abolishing of the entire BR sytem…

Well the Mkbs were made in 1942, and the earliest campaigns are 1942, and the Federov is a WW1 gun so it could fit in only the earliest battle

I’d say this whole problem exists is because they literally put a weapon that likely didn’t even see service in WW2 into the campaigns and now tech tree. I honestly think they only added it was because they didn’t have a to of ideas for new weapons.

I almost say they should just remove it or make it a gold weapon
