instead of lowering that BR3 Beretta into BR2, we should have simply gotten a MP40 buff
MP40 should get better accuracy to make it worth using in medium range over other SMGs that shoot faster.
Right now (if the ingame stats are even correct) MP40 has a deviation of “82”, while most other SMGs have very similar deviation stats, this should be buffed to 70 deviation to make it accurate enough to be useful for its slow rate of fire.
reasonable, especially since M3A1 submachine gun (grease gun) has 0.53 dispersion max upgraded.
me using my giga chad orita smg with STG level of accuracy
wrong, Orita has the same broken dispersion as ppsh41 stick, which is 0.21 dispersion max upgraded, the same as semi-auto rifles.
assault rifle dispersion is usually between 0.40-0.53 dispersion.
MP40 should get PPSH 41 box accuracy or better

Asking DF to remotely nerf their golden child PPSH box is just straight up impossible, so might as well just ask DF to at least buff MP40 accuracy.

hey, a WW2 game where PPSH shoots slowly or MP40 shoots fast is simply a fake WW2 game.
instead of wanting to increase every guns rate of fire, you should start thinking about ways slow rate of fire SMGs arent automatically worse than fast ones.

Maybe ppsh box cursed dipsersion aswell but well after all when it comes to soviet they can have all those magical stuff for some reason, while conveniently DF nerfed the G43 8mm kurz to “” mantain HA levels"" while we still seeing all those fictional stuff until today and DF for no reason still making stuff be HA when it sees that is convinient for them

i am not against prototypes at all as long as those are limited ( old gold order 4x limit was a great compromise/ rip BP shop)
but obviously every gun should have its right rate of fire.
MG42 should get 1200 rpm
PPS43 should get 600 rpm
STG should get 500 rpm
MP40 should get 550 rpm
FG42 I should get 900 rpm
FNAB should also get a rate of fire increase obviously
those are real historically accurate rates of fire - those stats should absolutely change first → and only AFTER that should balance be considered and adjusted to make those rates of fire fair.
honestly, just like Uragan SMG getting added despite everyone knowing PPS was already OP, changing G43k for HA but still not adressing burst Fedorov might be a power play by the devs at this point.
They literally could have turned G43k burst into a legacy gun, and reintroduce a new G43k in full auto and no one would have been hurt. But nooo, a small couple of Soviet players complained like crazy about it being OP, despite it getting nerfed over and over again.
It is what it is, but it still did hurt trust in the devs for sure.
