LMG Rework Johnson Rate OF Fire šŸ”§

the difference is the type 99 varies by 30 percent
the johnson by 300 percent even at 400 dropping the johnson to br2 would be needed the fact the johnson is at br4 with a 75 round mg42 is far worse than what they did to the type 99

Well I was not the one that wanted full realism is it ? Forget this double standards if the rules are for one faction is for all factions.

If Delavr is correct then I see no reason why the Johnson should be higher than br2, think about it if it had a 550rpm and a 20 round mag it could still fit in br2 if It was nerfed to fit it.

You should say thank you to the development team. Non-paying factions will end up like the Soviet Union.

This is the standard gas port if you put the Johnson on a higher gas port then we should put Type 99 on higher Gasport…

they make changes all the time without thinking how they gonna balance it.

One most people were not arguing realism they were arguing balance the type 99 as is was too strong, comparison to br3 smgs with similar stats to a br1 smg. second japan has multiple smgs tech tree at various brs it did leave the br empty. next choosing an lmg that already did not belong at its tier, id be happy to see a 400 rof at br2, or the johnson 200 rpm at br4 as a rifle and not a lmg.

In that video I’m 99% sure the guy speaking is refering to practical rate of fire, not actual cyclic rate because that gun is not firing at 200 rpm, looks at a chauchat or grease gun and then compare it with that video.

The rate of fire for the Johnson is from 200 to 600 rounds per minute depending on the Gasport…

Well as you said we should use the standard gas ports.

No gun should be on the higher gas ports, all should be set to standard.

Again, the 200 number refers to practical rpm not cyclic rpm, the difference is to great for it to be different settings. 550-600 is probably the most accurate at standard gas ports setting, so that’s what it should have.

are you kidding me the weapon fired automatically at a full cyclic rate and semi-automatically from a closed bolt.

200rpm is a snails pace, the 200 rpm number obviously refers to practical rpm.

And yet the Johnson on a standard gas port will fire at this rate thats how it is designed no one is making you putting it on slowest gas port thats why they made more… really im done explaining same thing over and over again…

Find me any design document or sources that say the Johnson lmg had a 200 rpm cyclic rate.

really use your brains the weapon fired automatically at a full cyclic rate and semi-automatically from a closed bolt. So in difference of Type 99 this weapon has a single fire mode so theoretically you can make it fire with 50 RPM if you dont give it enough gas…

ok it starts from 300 but this depends on the size of the hole cuz literally I can make it even less if reduce the gas since it can fire even semi auto so the smallest hole is actually 300.

300rpm sounds more realistic than 200, but I doubt that there was no standard rpm for the gun, so whatever that standard rpm is, should be the rpm the Johnson uses.

ok you have 100 rpm more upgraded it for you. It was some very slow number but im sure there was even a document that was saying 200 but im not gonna argue.

Im explaning again it depends on the Gasport same like type 99 it has minimum and maximum. But here is more complicated cuz as I said he weapon fired automatically at a full cyclic rate and semi-automatically from a closed bolt. However here you need special tools to change the Gasport with Type 99 you dont you just twist it.

while fighting over rof did anyone read fee system magazine, charger loaded 20 30 40 rotary feed or belt fed of any capacity.

Yes there is I have the full manual I can send it if you wish its free on forgotten weapons but keep in mind some are after the war the rate of fire of 1000 is achieved on modified gas ports in Korean war on the late war model 44/45.

thanks but im on console cant download, my point is why did they put an lmg with 20 rounds worse than the bar at br4 when they had this
