Sure, which arguably is reason why moscow is full of bot games.
Well good for you.

So the game needs to be like Battlefield or Call of Duty to be successful? Rising Storm series were big in their hayday (Red Orchestra 2 over 16,000 and Rising Storm 2 over 8,000), Hell Let Loose before inaccuracies (over 11,000), Post Scriptum (over 7,000). Also, this game has something those games donât. Itâs free to play. Why not use that to draw more people in? Nerds in niche categories will spend money on things. Warhammer miniatures are like $35+ just for one mini, last I recalled they arenât a dying industry.
I donât think you actually understood what I was saying in the slightest. If you couldnât tell, that was in a large list of the problems in the game, not the positive things. I was saying that the unified tech tree is a good thing per nation (Italy and UK should be separate though), yet doesnât need to come at a hinderance of HA. The developers also never allowed to select multiple campaigns to queue for at the same time, in fact, if you tried to look for another campaign while queuing, it would end your queue.
Ah yes, hereâs some arguing in good faith, can you please point out the ten different visions that people have? Because from your extremely well balanced and nuanced take, I couldnât possibly assume that people having different solutions to a problem to try to find something that works with the community as a whole, would be anything other than them being disillusioned and having multiple interpretations of HA. You read very good, good job.
agreed, so we actually donât want something more strict, just keep what it is now, which you think itâs already not HA at all lol (thatâs the enlistedlized HA I mentioned).
the esaist solution could be now, in my opinion, is an offical dev blog clarify the âsoft ruleâ.
Add the equip points system.
For example, the stg44 costs 5, k98k costs 1,VG2 costs 0(Just an example), and the maximum points for an assault team is 20. So if you want to equip 4 stg44, you have to let the rifleman use VG2(and VG2 can only be unlocked at final stage of the techtree). Conversely, if you want equip more FG42-2, let assaulter use mp3008.This seems to solve the problem of how these cheap replacement make their debut at later stage(also solved the crazy riflesquad with 9 fg42-2),but some soldiers will suffer injustice(No surviving assaulter? suicide now)
This idea came to me last night when I was drunk. may solve the dispute between historical facts and balance to bring the topic back to the techtree/BR.
you couldnt do just separate tech tree with campaigns. having campaigns and choosing multiple or single campaign would still mean that you would need multiple fixed queues for every separate campaign. devs will want to add at least 2 new campaigns per year and it is simply unsustainable.
i agree with all this.
what is distasteful with merge? if you could get some kind of selection of map (they said they will consider it after merge) and they put you more or less with historical weapons for some campaign (which they said they will introduce with soft HA rule)? simply i dont understand all this crying about HA when they announced all those changes. only thing left is that you wont have as wide weapon range in same battle as before and that is good for newbies cause they wont be pounded with end game weapons against which they dont have any counter.
i would assume it could happen if player is matched against USA and USA only has pre 1945 campaigns.
and you know what? i dont really have a problem it appearing in moscow. do you know why? cause of this:
look at link above. i think they are retarded cause there is so much historical inaccuracy in the game and the biggest problem is mp3008 in low tier games, which DF said should have low probability of happening only if there are not enough players in queue.
btw that list isnt nearly complete. there isnt any japanese weapon there.
yeah it definetely will happenâŠ
âthe straw that broke the camelâs backâ
as you well-metioned, the balance between HA and gameplay has already been greatly skewed to one end, just one more step, the bubble will explode.
What I imagine when I read (skim) the 3-4 ppl bickering over meaningless stuff:
what else to do during the endless wait?
We know that genre sells.
All those combined probably aint even a daily playercount of BF series
For a reason
From where ? Yeah theres steam where you can throw this and will get some players from it other than that where your going to get more players ?
Good luck trying to unite different genre nerds to this game.
And what is this exact HA again ?
Il grant that theres probably some sort of minority that would be willing to play like that.
From majority of players perspective aka casuals I highly doubt any of them would choose it instead of spending theyr little gaming time to 1 single campaign to eventually get something useful.
So I highly doubt that would have changed anything in any meaningful way.
Current game ?
Actual HA
Some sort of âsuspension of disbeliefâ HA
Theres just as many visions of HA as theres people speaking of it.
Lets not pretend this is first time weâre havin this muh HA conversation.
Well there is solution, custom games.
Which isnt working in moscow for example.
Quite sure said soft rule was announced at somepoint. Will it ever work ? Maybe once out of 100 times.
we also donât believe in it lol. thatâs why we gave variant ideas try to at least make their promise more solid. if they could do it as robihr said, it will be really great.
Problem with the so called HA is the balance which the new matchmake aims to increase.
Sure it works all good and fine when theres bolties, starter smgâs & low tier tanks.
But once lets say T-34 rolls in your going to need something that doesnt exactly fit to timeline.
Same goes with federovs, rpds, as44 , stg,fg42 and what else.
The Battlebit game made by three people has more players than BF2042 and as many players as CoDMW. Battlebit is a game with graphics straight from the AMIGA, very realistic physics for such a game, very destructible environments, thoughtful solutions more realistic than an infinite parachute. And its mechanics are a combination of SQUAD and BF.
The arguments of children watching streamers opening cases in CSGO and Fortnite, playing only f2p games without paying anything, believe that the best business model is the model of large companies.
And this is wrong thinking because Darkflow Software is not a AAA studio and going that way will kill the game. Darkflow Software should aim at a specific recipient who will invest in the game, not at the masses of players who will play for a while, not buy anything and give up.
It was the same with WoT. Players got bored with the arcade game about tanks because it became unplayable due to strange efforts of the creators. And what happened? A large number of WoT players migrated to WT, adding to the base of players playing realistic battles because thatâs what they needed.
Why do most people play CoD in hardcore mode? Because it is quite realistic (apart from the agility and strength of Captain America in every character on the map).
Why every wipe Escpae Fro Tarkov is besieged, new players are coming, even though the game immediately throws the newbie into a black swamp with the slogan âWelcome to Tarkovâ? And games that wanted to copy this gameplay model do not last long, only CoDMW2DMZ holds up, and Marauders is now mainly PvE.
HLL or PS. Cool WWII games, but platoon clashes because 50 players are not even a company, they donât fit into WWII game. World War II is a clash of the masses and Enlisted guarantees just that experience.
clashes of the masses
I appreciate and support Enlisted for these features like:
If the game continues in the direction of ninjas, skillful soldiers whose equipment weighs nothing, withstanding a few hits, where they do not have any bulletproof vests (because there were various types of vests in those days, but no one was interested in the invention of a Pole, and American vests limited movement, so them, and various types of armor plates were used by operators of stationary weapons or in city fights where the soldier did not run so often due to the importance of such protection), serious departures from historical accuracy, I personally will not give up the game, but I will have to rethink whether to continue supporting it .
you must will be argued by those words
Those who didnât play CBT or OBT when it was only normandy wonât understand it.
Well, doesnt exactly matter as battlebit is as well arcade game rather than any form of realism / HA game.
Aka fast action rather than HLL style tacticooling.
Well I guess you had your chance to whale this game to glorious HA future but apparently you didnt spend enough I suppose.
source ?
Could it probably be due to fact its another niche market and as tarkov has been around quite some time anyone copying the concept is going to need to do quite a shitload of work to ever get at stage tarkov is ?
Tbh when ever I feel like playing something even remotely ww2 alike its HLL.
Bots, that are beyond retarded.
In what ? Weapons names ?
In what ? You die if you get shot or ?
Yeah, got to agree this is what keeps me in the game too. Id imagine all war veterans still around ran around with 100kd dual wielding ppsh.
Itâs people like you that ruin the game. Because you want another CoD clone. Because itâs proven. Blah⊠Blah⊠Blah.
And I donât want another clone. Games that copy some rumps because theyâre on top right now.
I want Enlisted to continue to be Enlisted and not just another tracing of clichés that have stopped selling. Because how many times can you reheat the same cutlet.
And looking at the fact that you consider battlebit to be an ordinary arcade game, it is not an ordinary arcade game. This is a game made by three people who took the best of Squad, added a battlefield point system and a class system that, by the way, can be edited during the game. Do you play ninjas in the game? Well just no. Character movements in Battlebit are more realistic than in such BF or CoD. There are a lot of mechanics that make it fun to play despite the graphics, which by the way has its own charm.
And just prove, prove and prove and you have no rational arguments. You just complain about everything and have no arguments of your own based on sources because your opinion is based on someone elseâs opinion.
The game was slower but not that much better tbh. The B already was there, so the G41 and putting BA-11 as premium isnt much better as well.
For ten ( 10 ) of you yes
Then you chose wrong game
Custom games.
Oh well, if weâre speaking of cod / bf cutlet I think they been around for over 20 years now so quite many times I suppose
says action, which it pretty much is.
Nothing to do with realism or anything else.
Well no they aint. I actually do have a battlebit.
True, its going back to roots when playability was major factor in fps games.
Rather than shiny graphics that seems to be deciding factor these days on games.
Well one of us considers enlisted as realistic game and its not me.
So Im quite sure its not me lacking the rationality here.
Id like to remind its you who is complaining about the future matchmake not me.
Idk why this HA debate is still there. Its more cope than baby steps at this point.
